- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take cash, check, paypal, and venmo. My pricing structure: - $50/hr for time I spend in your home helping you - Optional $25 flat fee to bring items to a donation center (basically, if you can fit it in my car, I will take it to Goodwill)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I show up, I have my customer point me towards the part of their space that needs work. From there, I ask questions about what difficulties they're having, what outcome they're looking for, and what types of decisions or feelings are hindering them. I've got it from there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My day job as project manager is very relevant because it involves me helping other people make decisions that they would struggle making on their own. Decluttering is the same; it's not that you don't know how to put things away, it's that each individual item will require some form of decision.
