Chef Steph was absolutely amazing! She prepared dinner for our party of 30 for our family reunion. From the very beginning, she was very responsive and easy to work with, helping us create the perfect menu for our group.The prime rib was cooked to perfection and full of flavor and he mashed potatoes were absolutely out of this world! She truly had something for everyone, from homemade macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders that the toddlers loved to a delicious prime rib dinner for the adults, complete with appetizers and fresh salads. Everything was beautifully prepared, organized, and delicious. Chef Steph made our evening stress free and memorable, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We look forward to using Chef Steph again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional private chef!

It’s a short list of people who say what they do and then do what they say. Well, last night, in Tehachapi, CA, Chef Steph Events did just that. It catered a surprise party for my wife’s 70th birthday and offered an extensive list of menu choices. From my choices, Chef Steph and Sou Chef MIke prepared a delicious meal for 36 people that included great salmon and coffee rubbed steak. I especially recommend the bacon wrapped dates as one of your menu starters…you could make a meal out of just those. They also grilled plenty of veggies tp accompany our meal along with a Caesar Salad using seasoned and grilled romaine lettuce hearts. Chef Steph even accommodated two vegan guests with a special lasagna dish. They cleaned the grills and washed the dishes and cutting boards they used and helped serve the birthday cake. I was overwhelmed by the quality of the food and its presentation. And get this…they traveled from the San Diego area to Tehachapi to serve us. The guests were impressed…and I was pleased…and I am pleased to recommend Chef Steph Events to anyone seeking a unique party experience. Thank you, Chef Steph…we will meet again.

Chef Steph was fantastic, really easy to work with, came up with wonderful menu options, the dinner was delicious and she cleaned it all up to allow us to enjoy our dinner. I would definitely recommend using her.

Y'all... if you're on the fence about hiring Chef Stef, let me save you some time. Do it. Chef Stef and her sous chef, Mike, catered my dear friend's 50th birthday, and from start to finish they absolutely knocked it out of the park. I always host elaborate dinners, but my friend asked for her bday I hire a caterer instead of cook, so I could be present and enjoy myself.. I may never cook again. We hosted a plated dinner for 40 guests with passed hors d'oeuvres, and everything felt polished, effortless and genuinely special! The food was incredible. I'm still getting texts days later from guests asking about the crab cakes and those melt-in-your-mouth short ribs. They were that good. Every course was beautifully presented, perfectly timed and absolutely delicious. What impressed me even more was how thoughtful they were behind the scenes. They worked with every food allergy and dietary restriction without making anyone feel like an afterthought. They even prepared extra vegetarian portions just in case someone changed their mind. That's the kind of foresight you don't think about until you need it. Service was flawless. Stef and Mike passed appetizers, served every plated course, cleared dishes, kept the kitchen spotless and somehow managed to make the entire evening feel relaxed. I never had to wonder if something was getting done because they were already on it. And then... the cake. The bakery decided it was a brilliant idea to send a beautiful two-tier birthday cake via Uber Courier. It arrived, as predicted, on its side. I was somewhere between anger and tears, and without hesitation Stef rolled up her sleeves, stood beside me and helped save the cake. Both of us cook but neither of us are cake decorators, together we pieced it back together well enough that nobody at the party had a clue anything had happened. She didn't have to do that. It wasn't her responsibility. But that's exactly the kind of person she is. Chef Stef and Mike genuinely cares about making your event successful. Five stars isn't enough. ❤️
