Introduction: Congratulations, I am so happy you are reading my profile. I am a Monterey Peninsula local. I will perform ceremonies within a 30 mile radius. My goals are to provide a ceremony that captures the desires, character and spirit of the couple. With personalized touches (if you like) that are meaningful, memorable, with a bit of light hearted humor. I will take time to listen to you. Ask questions, and have discussions of what nuances and sensitive matters to be aware of, that may be related to your backgrounds. I am available, and will review your ceremony with the following people if it applies: Wedding Coordinator..Photographer.. DJ or Band.. etc.. Types of Ceremonies I am Happy to perform are, Custom, Traditional, Spiritual, Religious, Contemporary, Modern, Elopement, Same Sex, Commitments, Vow Renewal, Handfasting, (however you envision that) and Themed... I have hiked into some beautiful places for ceremonies and I know of several scenic locations that do not require extensive backpacking or strenuous hiking to experience the soaring wonder of the redwood forests or the beautiful ocean. The only hesitation I have would be jumping out of a plane while performing your Ceremony...😊 I will be prompt... I arrive long before the ceremony ready to greet and introduce myself so all can feel comfortable. I will be dressed to fit your day. If you are eloping or just want the ceremony to be the two of you, I can assist with my minimal experience taking photos (with the phone or your camera). Rehearsal attendance is optional but I am willing to be available and assist in running the rehearsal ...if needed. Thank You, CONGRATULATIONS 💖💖

There is no other way of describing our wedding experience than AWESOME! Marie did a stupendous job. She doesn't do anything her way, it's all about the bride & groom! Super friendly to everyone. Remembered everyone's names & made everyone feel welcome. It was such a beautiful time & I would ask her to marry us everyday if we could.

Ms. San Paolo presided over a wedding I witnessed last fall. I was truly impressed how professional and caring she was with the bride, groom and their families. The ceremony was tailor-made for the couple and was sensitive to the family members both present and past and could not have been a more perfect.

Marie has performed two weddings for our family. I am the Mother of the Bride. My oldest daughter married on September 17, 2011, in Monterey. Marie created a very personal ceremony for my Daughter and Son In Law that included his three small children that were becoming part of our family. We laughed, we cried, it was just perfect. My other Daughter was married on May 31, 2014 180 miles from Marie's home base. She made the trip up, directed the rehearsal the night before and, again created a very personal, loving ceremony. Marie makes every guest feel happy and comfortable and if you didn't know you would think she was a member of the family! I highly recommend Marie to make your special day even more special

Marie was such a sweetheart & a pleasure to work with. She went wayyy above & beyond to put my mind at ease leading up to our big day. Always prompt on following up & super flexible & easy to work with. She was there for me & encouraging me to go over my vows with her on multiple occasions. She cried with me when I was choked up reading out loud my vows. It was then, it felt like she's become my best friend/mom. Our ceremony was non religious but sweet, funny, emotional but not too drawn out. She did an amazing job incorporating our story how we met & how we fell in love. I could not ask for a better ceremony. Without a doubt, I would do it all over again with Marie if I could. Highly recommended.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My couples should know that my pricing also would include, rehearsal (if having 1).. it is the perfect opportunity for couples and parties involved to feel at ease with the process. Travel time, returning the License (if in Monterey County) and or Mailing the License. These can ALL be addressed with a phone call or a meeting. 💖💖
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with the phone call. Then, if there is enough time before the Ceremony date. We will set up at least 2-3 meetings in person or via video chat. At which time we will customize your ceremony to fit your individual desires and needs. With you building your trust in me that I will successfully create a ceremony that reflects yourselves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have lead a Bible study group . Studied Non Religious Doctrines Attended and help Facilitate Love and Relationship Workshops
