- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Practice my instruments on a daily basis. Perform several times a week out in various venues. I still take lessons from BIG names in the Drum world. Attend music events- i.e.: the NAMM show. Read magazines like Modern Drummer, Drum, Bass Player,
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was my Jr.High band director and he's a good musician. I was drawn to the older kids playing in his bands- truly I started on pots and pans with sticks from his band room. I only wanted to study music and have bee fortunate to be hired as a drummer for many people. And I've been teaching DRUMMERS of all ages and some PIANO students, since college. Then I also added BASS to instruments that I'll teach on
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Freelance drumming: My experience, and past study and listening have given me the ability to show up on your gig and sound as I've rehearsed with you, or learned your setlist almost overnight.
