I was a little leary due to the very low price. Usually you get what you pay for. I was pleasantly surprised to find the workmanship was very good and the price was half the cost of the contractor/handyman that was referred by my realtor.
I had a backyard pond & statue removed. Matt and I met first to go over the job. He called to confirm he was coming at the time we had set up and arrived on time. He removed it in less time than anticipated (it was hard work as it was concrete). He went about it in a logical and methodical way and was careful not to make a giant mess in the yard, and remained mindful of the plants nearby. He made it seem so easy, I wish I had done this years ago. I learned Matt is a carpenter as well and I would definitely hire him again.
I would totally recommend Agosto for Masonry work. We hired him to put pavers in our backyard. He was very professional & thorough and delivered in time. Very friendly and reasonable.
Pros: Jasper was prompt in responding, punctual, friendly, and completed the work quickly. I was impressed that he finished this project in one day; whereas other contractors seemed to indicate it was more work and more difficult. I would hire him again. Some areas he can improve: There were a couple of minor areas that were knicked on our kitchen island that I didn't notice until cleaning up. Also, I think he could have done a little better cleaning up the island- wiping down the cabinet fronts that had a light layer of dust (I did this myself). Finally, I gave him a box of stain & top coat that the previous owners left to us. He applied them but I noticed they didn't leave the counter shiny, like the finish we had before he sanded. After Jasper left, my husband realized we were missing the water sealant coat which we had in the garage. So now we are applying this coat ourselves to make the island water- proof and give it the same shine. This isn't totally Jasper's fault since I gave him the supplies but I would have liked if he would have noted that something seemed to be missing or off (or given his recommendations on what he would have stained/sealed it with to make sure the wood stayed water proof.) Overall, I'm happy with the work.
Byron is a great contractor. He is responsive and very professional. Will hire him next time.
I employed Milko to powerwash and stain my redwood deck. I found that he had all the characteristics that I look for in a contractor - punctuality, responsiveness, and professionalism. He was really concerned about making us happy, as opposed to just finishing the work and getting on with his next job. He was the first one that brought samples of finishes (not just showed us pictures). We were very pleased with his work and will use him again when we have something he can help us with
James and his crew did an excellent job on demo and cementing a new driveway and concrete slab in my backyard. He started and completed the job on time and at the agreed price. I would recommend his company for any concrete projects. Thank you.
Richard helped me design and remodel some features of my home before selling. Richard has a great eye for design and is able to construct as well. Richard and his team poured a new (black) concrete driveway, built me a new lateral cedar stained fence and painted the exterior of my home navy blue. This lead to a quick sale above asking, Thanks!
Really enjoyed working with Pablo. He was prompt, professional, and very easy to get a hold of with any questions. He did a great job with our backyard (decomposed granite and flagstone patio), and really helped us shape our vision. After his team was done we had a few minor things that needed changing, and Pablo was quick to come by and make the fixes we needed. Would highly recommend working with him!
Loved working with JUNIO! I interviewed few contractors & he is by far the most understanding & efficient. He offers competitive price & has great work ethics. His tile work came out better than what I've expected! Thank you Junio for the great work & excellent customer service! Look no further & hire him!
I needed a kitchen faucet installled. Julio was out to do the job a couple of hours later. He showed up on time, very friendly and professional from beginning to end. He did a great job installing the faucet, despite hard water that had essentially become like cement over time, he was very patient and skilled and no damage to the granite. Very happy with his quality of work. I asked if he had time to look at a dragging side gate door. He was happy to help, gave me a very reasonable quote and to my surprise had all the necessary equipment in his truck. He fixed the gate door perfectly, swings so smoothly now. Julio does an excellent job.
Working with Juan was a terrific experience. He is very transparent about setting expectations: what is he going to do, how is going to do it and how long will it take. He will get the work done in a timely and clean manner. We were able to book him in advance (which was about 2 weeks prior) but I understand he will do his best to accommodate clients on a shorter notice. If you have been struggling with other handymen/contractors (as I was!) I truly recommend you to use Juan's services - he is super easy to work with and very reliable.
Angel and his crew made two pillars and four below-ground concrete pylons as footing for a 4-legged gazebo to straddle a circular pavilion in my backyard. His crew also poured a 7’ x 2’ concrete slab in our side yard to function as a grill parking spot. Angel had car trouble the first day, which delayed the start of work to two days later than we had agreed on. His crew spread the work over three evenings, delaying another crew's start date for assembly of the gazebo by two days. The posted rate for Angel's work was $45/hour. When the work was finished, Angel presented me with a bill that would have charged $40 an hour for each of his crew's 5 laborers. Angel may be an engineer worth $45 an hour, but someone digging a hole for concrete does not earn $40 an hour, so we renegotiated. Angel received $45/hour, and each of his workers earned $20/hour. We declined to pay for hours when multiple workers were present, but only one of them was working, since the others were just waiting for Angel to arrive. In addition to wages and materials, we paid $150 for gas. Angel would have spent less on gas, if the work had been concentrated into fewer days, which I would have preferred. The end result is: the anchors are level. The two front pillars have air pockets as large as 0.5" h x 2.5" in the sides, indicating the cement wasn’t packed down well. (I will use filler to get a smooth surface, after which paint will be necessary to hide the filler.) The work started late, was spread over too many days, and the concrete pillars should not have the air pockets they have. On the up side, I appreciated how clean the worksite was when Angel finished. He also gave me a few expert answers to questions I had about other potential concrete projects. Angel is polite and knowledgeable. Even so, it is important to be very specific with your timeline, cost expectations, and aesthetics up front.
Tui came and gave a considerate, intelligent estimate. A good, honest person. Hired him over several other contractors. Very happy with the decision to use Little Concrete.
I ended up interviewing 10 different contractors for our exterior siding job because there were so many different opinions on what needed to be done and how best to do it. I'm so glad that we ended up going with Kris and his team. Great communication throughout, incredibly high quality of workmanship on a very difficult job (it is an older house that hasn't been maintained very well before we bought it). I really appreciated Kris' attention to detail and letting us know what was going on throughout the 6 week long process. Also did a great job working with the county inspector, which is never an easy process. These guys are pros - won't hesitate to hire them again for our next house project!
It went very. Ricky and his crew were very nice and trustworthy. Gave him a key to my house since I was unable to be home during the times they would be working my bathroom. He was fair with his pricing and so nice. I have had 2 contractors work on place before and they had such bad attitudes. I will definitely use Ricky again and recommend to friends. Also loved how respectful they were of my Home and keeping it clean as much as possible while working.
I hired them to lay the engineered bamboo floor in my condo. They did exactly what promised and in the time they originally specified. I have been doing remidelling and construction of my rentals and my resident for the last 10 years and very much familiar with the business. Out if many contractors or handymen i met Jason and Regina are the outstanding team. They work fast, they are very proactive and attentive to details. And their price was reasonable. What is the most important for me is that they do listen to my suggestions - not like many macho style contractors:). The floor work looks absolutely great and i am very happy. So that i would like to hire them for other work on my rental property.
Have been working with Ricardo for quite a while now & work is impeccable. Replaced lawn for pavers & extended a concrete walkway. No more maintenance & it’s worth it. Team did a great job
Ed is the definition of a high quality contractor and individual. His timing is impressive, his price is very reasonable, his work ethic is one of a kind. Ed goes out of his way to make sure you know what he is doing and what he plans on doing. I was not home while Ed was tiling my kitchen, but still with every decision he made due to an odd layout, or crooked wall, or unlevel surface, Ed would take a picture, text it to me, explain the process of how to resolve and walk me through it. He listened to me as a homeowner and didn't just blow and go through his work. His communication is top notch. If you contact Ed, he will be in touch within minutes of the missed call. You want Ed to work on your project!
Cesar is one of the best General Contractors I have ever dealt with. Once my project started, he was constantly proving me updates regarding status, finished project on time and did not make me run after him. He was very reasonable in terms of price/cost and quality of work done by him and his team was amazing. I strongly recommend him to anyone looking to get a general contractor
Aldo is absolutely wonderful to work with! We purchased our home in 2014 and he has led three different renovation projects for us since then. And, when we save up for our next round of renovations, we will certainly go to him again! What we appreciate most about Aldo is his honesty and warm nature. He never led us astray, never tried to overcharge us, and never tried to get us to do more work than we needed do. He was open and upfront throughout the entire process for each project. He was also warm, friendly, and so easy to work with. Before we started our first round of renovations, many people warned us about contractors who would extend timelines. But Aldo is amazing when it comes to timelines! He sticks to them! We also love how responsive Aldo is. Whenever we texted him with questions or updates regarding our project, he immediately responded. And this is all on top of doing beautiful work!! We highly recommend Aldo!!
