I needed door bolts installed into my doors. The cuts in the doors where measure out correctly and placed perfectly. The latch on the opposite door was perfectly positioned and the door latches in a perfect fit. Harp is punctual and professional. He introduces himself, gets to work quickly. He is meticulous about getting the woodwork perfect and astheticallly pleasing to the eye. Unlike every other handyman I called, Harp answers the phone or will call back within an hour or two. He is available, even into the late hours of the evening. He was available to help me with a 24-48 hour notice. Every other handyman I called either didn't return the call, called back several days later or just outright not available for several weeks out. His prices are reasonable. He will give you an estimate prior to the job and will keep that promised price even if the job becomes difficult. He is also generous. Although he was hired to install doorbolts, he fixed a problem that I had with my door knobs just because he wanted everything to look uniform. Harp is available for work, professional, and does really good work. I will be hiring him again.
I needed to have a new water line installed to my refrigerator and Ronaldo was not only quick to respond but he was very flexible with scheduling a date. He was able to install the refrigerator plumbing in 30 minutes and was helpful in answering any questions I had throughout the whole process. I look forward to working with Ronaldo again on any future plumbing needs that may come up.
After being given the run around from our home builder and the water heater company, Aqua Stat cane in and fixed the issue in 40 minutes. Another plumber had given his opinion on what was needed, but didn't want the job, after telling me the water heater needed 4 major parts, Oscar came in cleaned the burner and the thermo coupler with a wire brush, didn't put in any new parts and the water heater worked. It's great to know there are some contractors left that have the customers well being at heart. After 4 days of not having hot water, it was a relief to finally get someone who was willing to make it happen. Can't thank you enough Oscar :-)
Toby came today to help us with the plumbing problem that we were having. He was very helpful and very professional he did the job and was very reasonable I’m sure he save us a lot of money compared to most plumbers. He was very nice and I definitely think I would hire them back for more than just plumbing work I think I got myself a new handyman to come help us with things that we need to get done around this house.
Routine water heater swap - yeah right. What started out as thinking our water heater was broken, turned out to be a long overdue clogged sewer lateral. Worst case scenario. While I'm not that happy about the sewage overflow situation which could have been better mitigated (and we still need to beach the hell out of that room), the solutions and options offered by Ali were professional and spoke of his experience. To unclog the piping, snaking was attempted but failed, hydrojetting was attempted but failed (with a mess of sewage). Finally we got a camera down there to find a wall of something about 50 feet down from the mechanical room to a spot under the sidewalk. Digging 4 feet down, to find actually a pretty good condition clay lateral. Ali's man Valentino (a skilled gentleman), cut the clay and replaced it with a riser in order to install a cleanout for future maintenance. Once done, they hydrojetted for another hour to clear 7-8 months worth of waste. The camera was once again sent through to find that a portion of the clay lateral had shifted and created uneven surfaces including some penetration of tree roots. While most plumbers would probably recommending an immediate replacement, Ali recommended that since it wasn't fully collapsed, we should simply clear out the lateral as routine maintenance rather than spend all the money to replace the pipe. I appreciate his direct communication, no sales pitch, and brief coaching through the process. While I do have 10 yrs of construction experience, and his price was not the cheapest, he certainly delivered on time and without any sense of price gouging.
I had a Kitchen drain that was clogged. David responded, we agreed on a reasonable offer and he was out the next day to complete the job. He was kind, professional and on-time (even a couple of minutes early). He put down a plastic tarp around the work area and was very clean and cleaned up after himself. I was VERY pleased with his responsiveness and work overall, I would def call him for any future repairs. He hit every mark on what one expects from a service professional and I think you'd make a good choice going with him. I have had to hire a plumber at a previous residence and it cost twice as much for a similar job. Glad I found him!
Sometimes you get lucky. We did when Stephen responded to our weekend post for a plumber on thumbtack. We had lost a pvc pipe connected to our roof's drain. The weather forecast was for rain the following day. As other reviews note, Stephen was on time and quickly addressed our needs. He had the situation fixed in under two hours with highly competent workmanship. It did rain the next day and the roof drain was working just. fine. Thanks Stephen!
Communication was great- they responded to our request very quickly and were able to come fast. However, our drain problem was in a multi-unit condo, and possibly beyond the scope of their equipment/capabilities. They used a 20 ft snake that ultimately got stuck in our system. We had to escalate to our building management, who brought out plumbers used to commercial properties and eventually resolved over a couple weeks. Not the plumber's fault, as they were not able to know the extend of our drain issues. 5 stars for communication and effort, 3 for incomplete resolution - so 4 star average.
Cory was great! Very professional, polite and responsive. He was easy to communicate with, gave me a fair price, and completed the job in no time (under an hour) - even cleaned up everything before he left. Could not have asked for better service! Will recommend him every time.
I have a relatively complex radiant heating system with a circulating hot water system as well. The work I needed done was some straightforward plumbing but all plumbers I'd reached out to turned me down due to the radiant system. Clay and Mark replied straight away and came as soon a they could. Not only were they unfazed by the system, they fixed my problem, showed me how I could have done it and then stuck around to make sure all the components were working correctly. They were professional, helpful and did excellent work. I will definitely use them again.
The most professional and knowledgeable plumber I’ve ever hired! Dom came over to install a simple water heater, what happened next was out of the playbooks. The pipes burst, the tubing was incorrect, and Dom handled it like a true pro and stayed here for hours on a Saturday. One of the most amazing human beings I’ve met in a very long time, if you need to hire a true professional that you could trust.Dom is the man for you! Also, he went above and beyond with fixing little repairs that he was witnessing as he was doing his job. A true professional from top to bottom.
Ulandis is the bomb dot com. Not only was he willing to come help me in a pinch and help during non-business hours, he was willing to show me what he was doing and teach me a bit about plumbing. He has good energy, seems like a genuine and good guy, and is smart and funny. I'll hire him again without thinking twice. He's the goodness. If you're looking for an upright awesome guy and an amazing plumber, how Ulandis.
I hired Marc to fix a frameless glass shower door that had slipped over time. This is a very heavy glass door that was very difficult for me to fix on my own. I tried and failed. Then I called Marc. He got in touch with me promptly and quoted me for one hour of work ($80) to fix the door. It actually took him a little longer, so he asked for $120, which I thought was fair, considering my door is larger than average and harder to fix. He worked hard, was knowledgable, and personable. $80/hour is a bit steep, but I'd probably still hire Marc for future handy work around the house. I recommend you give him a call if you need something fixed.
Colly installed a washer+dryer hookup in our garage. The quality of his work was impressive and clean. He was courteous, responsive, honest, worked with a smile, and even went above and beyond by covering up the previously installed hook-up. His quote was very reasonable and lower than any of the other plumbers from whom we got an estimate. We're definitely going to use his services for our future needs. Would hire in a heartbeat!
John Utz is the real deal! I have been a manager and administrator of building and remodeling projects for some time, so have a lot of experience with plumbers, most not so good, especially when it come to pricing. John Utz changed my perception of the plumbing trade. He is honest, intelligent, diligent, on time, just a delightful guy to be around. He came to my place, on time, performed the job above and beyond expectations, and charged me an incredibly reasonable price for much more than I expected to get done. Wow!! If you do not hire John Utz, you are CRAZY!! Thanks John.
Excellent and very patient service! Martin replaced my garbage disposal under 1 hour which I think it's pretty fast. So far the new garbage disposal is functioning really well. Martin is a nice guy! Thanks Martin!
