Introduction: As an elementary teacher, I can tie in music to other subjects and have a lot of patience! I use positive reinforcement, helping children to succeed! I love seeing children feel good about themselves when they accomplish a goal! If they practice, piano just clicks and they feel successful! I give 1/2 hour lessons once a week using Bastein books in my home by Donolan school in Pleasanton, using positive reinforcement, supplementing with popular songs! Students should be able to read! I was a 2nd grade teacher for 25+ years! We have a Spring recital in my home!

My daughter looks forward to her piano lesson each week with Jane. She has a calm, thoughtful way about her. She is great with young children. Her lessons have been a great introduction for my eight year old girl.

$30 per half hour: Mon. @ 7:00, Tuesday @ 6:30 and 7:00, Friday @ 6:15, or Sat. at 10:00 is open.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are four books, we go through the books adding special songs for the season, or pop/Disney type songs.The more the student practices, the faster they proceed. You determine the pace, if you practice at home constantly, you will go far!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a California credentialed teacher K-12.
