I have known Rene' for 20 years. She was my daughter's piano teacher for 17 years and I have been taking lessons from her for the last 3 years. Her excellence lies in the fact that she is patient, calm and understanding. She will work with a student as long as they want to work on a piece. She generally lets the student learn when it is time to move on to another more advanced piece. She is always available for help on the phone and can easily schedule make-up lessons without getting flustered or upset. Her piano recitals are a joy and delight to attend. Her students range in age from 4 to, well, I'm 61. She is the best piano teacher I have ever had and I have had plenty.

I just started singing lessons with Michael James. I am learning a lot about breathing correctly when singing and how to project my voice. I enjoy the lessons and like that I can review my taped song on a CD.

amazing teacher.. I learned so much about my voice! I thought you had to be a natural born singer to sing but he taught me all it takes is practice.

About

I am Judy Brunton and would love to extend to you my understanding of musical theory. The goal of my teaching will leave one with the equivalent of a minor in music, the ability to learn any song at will, and the opportunity to transcend and express timeless human emotion. I believe that playing music is a gateway to divinity and an absolute blessing to humanity. I look forward to meeting you.

About

I offer classical and Broadway voice lessons for all level voice instruction. I also offer beginner's piano lessons. I have been performing in musicals and choirs for 24 years. I hold a Bachelor's of Music in vocal performance. I have been employed as a music teacher both in the classroom and private settings for 5 years each. I have directed children's choirs and musical theatre productions. I am staying current by continuing my studies with internationally-acclaimed opera star, Edna Garabedian. I continue to perform on a regular basis. Voice lessons can focus on musical theatre and/or classical repetoire depending on student goals. Vocal technique includes breath support, vocal freedom, solid tone and resonance. Musical theatre also includes acting while singing and audition preparation. Classical voice lessons may include repetoire in English, Italian, French, or German. Youth lessons (high school and younger) are $17 per 1/2 hour lesson. Adult lessons are $30 per 45-minute lesson. High school students wishing for more advanced training may opt for adult lessons. Payment for initial lesson is due prior to first lesson. All other lessons will be paid based on a monthly payment schedule. My current availability is weekdays from 6-8 pm and Saturdays from 2-6 pm.
