Just had our first lesson, but we are excited about this and happy to update more info. in the near future!
After 2 years of group lessons with little progress, we are happy we switched to private lessons with Ryan. Ryan is professional yet makes learning fun and engaging for my 7 year old son. He is also very reasonably priced. A friend recommended him to us and now seeing his teaching abilities i would recommend him as well.
I am a professional singer and as such, I am looking for a voice instructor that can fine tune and improve my ability and performance. This takes a uniquely qualified and experienced teacher. In my 40 + years as a performer, Jennifer is the best I have met !
I highly recommend US Music Lessons! My 14-year-old son has been with US Music Lessons for nearly a year as part of the Rock Band class. He is a drummer and has loved playing with other students in his band as they learn together the skills they need to be part of an actual rock band. They have played multiple times at local venues, including the Hard Rock Cafe, which has been an incredible experience for the kids. Although my son already was a drummer coming into US Music Lessons (Thanks to his grandfather), he has learned a great deal from the wonderful teachers that instruct the Rock Band. My son plays with kids every week who have been students of US Music Lessons learning various instruments, including voice lessons, and their experience has been positive. The kids coming out of US Music Lessons are all gifted and talented young musicians thanks to the wonderful teachers dedicated to their musical growth. The Rock Band class is an innovative, fun and inspiring way to teach music in that it develops a love and passion for performing and therefore a desire to improve on a daily basis. Playing with others that are like-minded and receiving the feedback in an actual performance class from the instructor has been an invaluable experience for my son.
Our 5 year-old has improved a great deal while taking lessons with Amy. She has made it fun and has personalized her lessons to his interest and developmental stage. He now has a better posture while playing and has started to read music.
Kind, encouraging. I worked with Liz at piano Press Studio for two years and I looked forward to each lesson as an adventure. She was very kind and encouraging and helped me to sight sing music better, which was my goal.
She is very friendly and patient. She instruct me with her professional skills. I would recommend her for singing lesson for anyone who wants to improve his or her singing skill.
I am not a student of Amanda Harris, but rather the fortunate audience member who heard her performance a few weeks back at a fundraising benefit. Amanda was on the program, along with many others. She sang a beautiful solo piece. She also sang one of my most beloved duets, The Flower Duet from the opera Lakme. I honestly sigh every time it is played on the radio in my car! I was shocked to learn that the woman with whom she shared the duet was actually her 15 year old student. And it was her first time singing in French as well as the first try at opera. Everything about the performance was top quality professional. And to think that she has only been working with Ms. Harris less than a year! To say I am impressed would be more than an understatement. Not only was her voice flawless, as well as the delivery, but her "stage presence" was clearly well-coached. She was so self-assured. (but I bet her heart was going a mile a minute) I can recommend Amanda without the least hesitation as a voice teacher. And, actually, I have heard Amanda sing on other occasions, and have heard her students, (always a treat) but this time I was unaware it was a student - thus my surprise. Amanda, of course, has a truly lovely voice. It's one thing to have the gift, but quite another to impart it.

I offer a fun, interactive teaching style that encompasses more than 20 years of performing and 15 years of teaching experience. As a performer, I have worked as a professional singer, actor, musician and dancer. I have always had a passion for teaching, directing and composing. While my love for performing has lessened over the years, I have found my true calling: teaching, directing and helping others to find their passion for music and the performing arts. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies with a special emphasis in music, theater, dance and psychology. I am a graduate candidate working on completing my thesis as my final requirement for a Master of Arts degree in music at San Diego State University. I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). I channel and encourage each student's creativity while helping him to learn to use his gifts as expertly as possible. Cool~ wonderful experience
I have been studying voice off and on with Tricia for about 15 years, and I just can’t say enough about the quality of training I have received from Tricia. When I first came to her, I was a painfully shy introvert, with extremely low self esteem. I had no self confidence in myself or my singing. I have always loved to sing, but didn’t have that “natural talent” that some people are lucky enough to have. Tricia helped me develop (and find) my voice after a few lessons, and already had me performing in a recital not long after I started lessons with her. Tricia has taught me everything from ear training, music theory, proper placement of the voice, breathing technique and turning that horrible “warble” into a natural vibrato that is really beautiful once achieved. I have studied with Tricia over the phone, the internet via skype, and in person. She hears everything with her golden ear, and she can tell how your posture is just by the sound of your voice. Tricia also has helped me during times when my vocal cords were swollen, and when I had some small thickening of the cords. With proper repair work, and better nutrition I began seeing results immediately. I have grown so much with Tricia’s help and guidance. I joined a band a few years ago, and have been invited as a guest singer with several other bands. Tricia is a superstar in her own right, and I highly recommend Tricia for anyone who is seeking a private coach.
