- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Any kind of therapy is an investment in yourself and worth what you put into it. However, I realize it's not easily affordable for everyone, so I do offer a sliding scale for students and special needs cases. Please ask if you have financial concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
*Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification (316 hours) Intensive training & 2 year Internship following. *Transpersonal Life Coaching Certification - (90 + hours) 1 year training. *Massage Therapy Certification with continued education in Thai Massage Therapy, Thai Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu, & Lymphatic drainage (600 + hours). *Reiki (Usui) Certification - Completed Levels 1-3 *Bowenwork (Myofascial work) - Completed Modules 1-4 *Kundalini Yoga Teacher Certification I have studied a variety of modalities and each year I take time to continue my education. I believe in continually working on myself for my own personal growth, to raise my own awareness, practicing with myself what I offer and teach to others and I believe this is vital to being a good therapist. I work consciously to keep myself as clear and positive as possible, as well as educated about current changes in my field, in order to help others as much as I can.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to be a massage therapist and healing arts practitioner since I was 11 years old. I had my first intuitive massage/hands-on healing session at that time for experiencing frequent anxiety, suicidal thoughts, depression, and a behavioral change my mother recognized and wanted to remedy. She had no idea how much that gift would influence my future. The massage and energy work I received at that time changed my life. I knew then that I wanted to offer the same beautiful gifts to help others and to commit my life to studying the healing arts. I had to wait until I turned 18 to enroll in massage therapy school, so I practiced giving healing touch and massage to my grandmother and friends until that was possible. I've continued studying and practicing a variety of body, energy and healing arts modalities over the last 12 years. Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy & Breathwork thearpy have helped me more than anything else I've experienced. It's the only work that truly shifted the long standing struggles I had with PTSD, anxiety, and frequently feeling threatened. I feel blessed to be studying and practicing these beautiful forms of healing work for the body, mind, and spirit. Ultimately my greatest desire is to help others find greater peace and a sense of liberation in their own lives.
