    Mary Jo's Private Piano Instruction

    (6 reviews)

I offer more than 30 years of continuous instruction. Students lessons are on my full size Yamaha white grand piano located close to the large bay window in the front room. This gives an open and airy feel for the student rather than a closed in practice room as used by many/most commercial music studios. I give music theory using a full sized digital piano (with head set) located far away in the family room connected to a computer for computer-assisted music theory in a game format. Students just love it as they can score themselves to get faster each time. Additionally I make sure that each student receives a welcome personalized card when they sign on, each time they advance to a higher level, announcing and post recital group photo cards, birthday with a four pack gourmet brownies and Christmas cards. The cards/gifts are addressed to the student...they love getting something in the mail addressed solely to them. I enjoy seeing the students' eyes light up when they play a study piece well. It's gratifying to see their progress and I know I'm giving them an appreciation for piano music that will last them a life time.

    Jung's Piano Lessons

    (2 reviews)

I believe that anyone can learn the piano with the right instruction and encouragement. My goal is to make the learning experience fun and exciting! In the lesson, I will cover fundamentals essential to playing the piano such as proper hand positions, posture, finger exercises, etc. In addition, I will cover fundamentals in theory such as rhythm, note reading, and ear training. For the more experienced students, I will cover areas such as advanced finger techniques, dynamics, phrasing, and character. I realize that not every person's goal is to become a concert pianist. Therefore, the lessons will largely depend on what you, the student, ultimately wishes to achieve. I am dedicated to providing a fun, positive, and encouraging environment to learn music!

    Music with Janelle

    (1 reviews)

I have a student centered approach. No two students are the same so why would I try to reach them in the same way? My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the lightbulbs turn on in my students. Regardless of what level or subject I am teaching, nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students' progress and watching their curiosity grow into a love for the subject.

  • Danielle Elise Voice & Piano Lessons

    (16 reviews)

I am an approachable, down-to-earth teacher with years of experience. I tailor lessons for each individual student, and have experience working with very young children through advanced adult students. I have infinite patience and unlike many teachers, I pride myself on being able to adapt my style of teaching to work for different learning styles and students with differing goals. Music means different things for each student, so I avoid subscribing to a "one-size-fits-all" method of instruction. I love that I get to interact one-on-one with students from a variety of backgrounds everyday, from children as young as three who simply need to be exposed to general music instruction, to adults well into retirement who are looking to rekindle their love of piano, to advanced singers needed detailed refinement in technique. I particularly love watching students develop and excel at their instruments over time, finding newfound ways to express themselves and channel their creativity.

  • Belinda's Voice & Piano Lessons

    (14 reviews)

I have been teaching voice and piano since 2010, and I love sharing music with others! I teach a variety of styles for both voice and piano. My higher education studies are in vocal performance with a focus on classical music, opera, and art song, but a lot of my vocal students work on musical theater and popular repertoire. My piano students also play a variety of styles, and I teach many to play and sing at the same time! I treat every student with respect, and I truly enjoy getting to know them as well. I like to have fun in my lessons, but I also have years of training and musical knowledge to impart to my students. I am well versed in vocal pedagogy (the science of vocal production), and I use this education to promote healthy singing! I received my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Boston University and my Master of Music and Doctorate of Music in Vocal Performance at Arizona State University. I love getting to know each individual student and learning their goals having to do with music, lessons, and life! The most exciting part of my job is seeing a student succeed whether it's in a lesson or in performance.

  • Rockstars of Tomorrow Norco

    (10 reviews)

Here you won’t find white walls, fluorescent lights or music note clip-art decorations on the walls. Those things don’t inspire people. We create unique spaces that stimulate the brain and the senses. Spaces that are fun and interesting. Spaces that inspire. Our instructors are not ordinary and we like it that way. They're performers, entertainers and musicians who listen to the same music their students do. More than that, they’re an uber-talented, uber-charismatic group of professionals passionate about teaching & shaping tomorrow’s rockstars. We don’t do recitals here because there’s nothing to be gained in a controlled environment. Instead our students perform regularly at authentic live music venues. Places like House of Blues & The Whisky. We’re different and we like it that way. There's nothing more rewarding than watching a child go from student to a performing musician. We have students who are currently writing their own songs, recording CDs, booking their own concerts and working in the music business.
