Miss Janet's Piano Lessons
Introduction: With over 23 years of teaching experience, I offer private piano lesson for children and adults. My students have the opportunity to learn theory, technic and repertoire ranging from classical, pop, broadway and more. I have taught pre-school and elementary music classes as well as mini musicals and continue to direct an annual Christmas play.
Eager to develop each student's playing style and full potential, I create individual lesson plans tailored to each student. I offer two recitals a year for any students who wish to participate.

Janet is such a fun, warm, kind piano teacher! My 8 year old has been receiving lessons from her since he was 5. And to teach a child that young is a special skill! Highly recommend Janet for your child’s piano lessons.

My two kids are taking piano lessons from Mrs. Janet for about 3 years now, and we're very happy with their progress. She has a natural talent for teaching and knows how to keep her students engaged. There are annual recitals which are fun. Overall, we're very happy to have her as a piano teacher. Highly recommended!!

As an enthusiastic adult student with little piano experience, Miss Janet was wonderful in determining where I was and how best to go forward. Aside from the basic curriculum, she encouraged me to let her know what I would like to play and add it to our lessons. Miss Janet was always positive with me, understanding of my limited time as a mother of young twins, but sure to point out I'd get out of this what I put in! Just starting? Go for it!

Janet was such a wonderful piano teacher to our daughter. She was patient with her instruction. When our daughter was practicing piano as requested, Janet was stern, but never got angry with our daughter. We also enjoyed the recitals that Janet coordinated.
