Monique put me at ease as I was feeling insecure about my poor physical condition. She is an excellent personal trainer.
Working with Jessa has been such a wonderful experience! I hadn't considered private/small group yoga sessions before finding her on Thumbtack but it has really expanded my understanding & interest in the practice. She is incredibly mindful and is always sure to check in with you to make sure you're getting the most out of her instruction. If you have any injuries or soreness she will show you alternative poses and makes sure to keep the sequence challenging enough but still within your ability. It's really cool to practice yoga specifically curated to your level - not like gym yoga or giant "all level" classes. If you're into it, she will also open practice with a short guided meditation to get you grounded, I hadn't had much experience with that before but I've found it to be quite beneficial! Lately I've been going to her new group sessions at the Felton Commons across the street from New Leaf on Highway 9 in Felton and it's a cool small class that is "all level" but it's still intimate enough so you still get the personal attention of a private lesson. I love it! Jessa had been such a gift and she makes me love yoga more all the time :)) do yourself a favor and try her out!
We went together to a yoga course in rishikesh, India. Amanda was an inspiration to everyone there, such a beautiful and sweet person!
Degenerative discs in my lower back plus difficulties in a hip have been troubling me for a couple years. Sierra has been working with me for almost a year to optimize exercises I was given in physical therapy by combining them with meditation & healing yoga. She has a wonderful positive approach & is very knowledgeable & pleasant.

I had a private yoga session with Claire and as someone new to yoga, I felt that Claire's instruction was clear and helpful. I've gone through a few yoga techniques on my own following the instruction of youtube videos, but I found Claire's session to help take me to the next level. She corrected my form and technique to help me get the most out of my yoga and I could really feel the difference in what I was doing before versus what I learned from the private session. Claire helped me loosen up my hips and introduced a few new poses that I've added to my routine and helped fine tune the ones I was already familiar with. Overall, I enjoyed my session with Ferox Yoga and would definitely try more classes in the future.
I am so grateful to have found Apoorva More Yoga on Thumbtack. I was in need of private in-home yoga due to an acute case of Adrenaline Fatigue caused primarily by stress. Apoorva has taught me restorative poses and breathing exercises that have been helpful in relaxing me and reducing my stress level. I would highly recommend her for anyone desiring to develop or strengthen a yoga practice. Besides being kind, empathetic and nonjudgmental, she is very skilled in modeling and teaching yoga so that one can optimize the benefits. Under other circumstances, I would not have thought of private instruction, but now realize that I have gotten more out of my sessions with her than the various classes I have taken over the years.

Wow, Alia has made me realize why I as a beginner yoga student need individual lessons. I've tried group lessons of 20 ppl or more and yes the yoga videos. She was very thorough explaining/demonstrating breathing, posture, form and etc. Then as i attempted pose/breathing she would guide me to the balanced form at my level. It finally made sense and it actually worked! Now why only 4 stars? Well, Alia has moved from San Diego to San Francisco without me, her favorite student hehehe No worries she had referrals for other coaches and I will definitely see her when I visit SF.
I have taken class with Rebecca for over 8 years. Her classes are full of spirit, laughter and soul. She is particularly wonderful at teaching alignment. I cannot imagine my yoga journey without her guidance. She is a fantastic teacher and person.
Maureen is great! Her class is filled with good vibes all around. I am not fond of yoga (not at all), but trying her class was a great experience. I even went back for another. And brought friends!
Regina was amazing to work with! She immediately recognized things about my body that I've been struggling to identify for years. Elika is a wonderful vinyasa flow teacher. The flow is steady paced to all levels and makes you sweat while calming the mind and spirit. The has a sweet disposition and is thoughtful about supporting students with injury with modifications. Take her class...you won't be sorry!
Gina took a very personal approach when we started our lessons. I suffered from sciatic pain after a lower back/ spasm injury due to a bulging disk so decided to try yoga to help strengthen my lower back and lessen my pain. She was always prepared with different poses to improve my health. She has a true passion for the practice and helping her patients. Gina was in it for the journey with me and I really appreciated that.
