Dr. Lake has been amazing!! If you are looking to get to the roots of your problems and if you are willing to put in the work to bring about change, then this is the therapist for you. I can't say enough wonderful things about him!
Helped with Relationship Counseling. My girl friend and I were going through a difficult time. We heard from others about the benefit of choosing a life coach over a MFT or a Psychologist. Our problems were communication about here and now. We didn't want to have to spend so much time individually sitting in "couch therapy " with a psychologist. Patti gets right to the underline issues. Her experience in this field is second to none. Our relationship including that of our teenage children that each of us has from our previous marriages has gotten so much better. Everyone in our family has benefited from we call her " our life coach" She is so easy to talk to. My fear and anxiety trusting to talk to someone with our issues went away the moment we met her. Our relationship has never been better thanks to Patti
My work with Helen has helped me become who I am today, a happier, more confident and more compassionate person. My therapy with Helen was exclusively via video chat, using Skype and other applications. It was SO convenient with a small child at home. Though it may sound odd, it was very comfortable to be in my own home while opening up. I feel grateful everyday for the time I spent with Helen and could not recommend her more highly.
I was struggling with everything in my life. Everything was so frustrating and hard. My kids changed so much that I didn't recognize them. It was as if they were possessed by something. Then I was introduced to Jane and her spiritual healing work. After the first session, my kids were more peaceful. Our house was more peaceful. I felt more peaceful. I had this incident where usually it would turn ugly but it turned out very peaceful and everything worked out. I was able to communicate with my child without turning it into a fight between us. I felt our energies lighter, more positive. I had a health condition that I didn't tell Jane and she was able to tell through the healing. She suggested that I follow up with it and take care of myself and she guided me on how. I am a believer. Jane is the one that I would go to. She is very sincere. I learned a lot about life and how to attract positive things and protect from negative things from Jane. She will teach you everything she knows to help you. She is also very intuitive and all her messages were right on the money. I trust her. Aeron C. Los Angeles
I am in a high-conflict divorce situation, and was required by court order to attend a Reflective Parenting Class. Needless to say, my nerves were shot from the endless conflict both in and out of the courtroom. I was looking for someone with great listening skills, and who was not jaded and cynical from overexposure to the personal drama of thousands of clients. I was very fortunate to find Lindsay for this class; her personality and approach are well-suited to the Reflective Parenting material. She gave a well-organized presentation of the material, but more importantly, she had a clear interest in applying the general principles in the class to my specific situation. She also provided useful background reading which was very thoughtfully chosen and helped me sort out some difficult situations with one of my daughters. In addition to the good listening skills and thoughtful presentation, Lindsay has strong intuitive skills and a genuine desire to see the problem clearly through the clients eyes. Her receptive intelligence and thoughtful articulation gave me the sense that I had been not only heard, but understood. Part way through the class, we decided that coming to class directly from work required a few minutes of mindful dissociation and refocusing, in order to recover the attention required for working on something so deep as parenting skills. Lindsay introduced a 5 minute meditation session at the beginning of the class, and we spoke about the issues that were most persistently causing the distraction of my attention. This was a really valuable addition to the class and enhanced the experience tremendously. The course was delivered in 10 modules; the primary emphasis was teaching parents to reflect on their own reaction when confronted with an emotional challenge from their children. In this way, parents avoid becoming entrained in their childs emotion and are better able to offer a rational solution when parental guidance is required. I found all of these modules useful, but was most stimulated by what I learned in the sessions about temperament, and about the usefulness of play. With Lindsays guidance, we were able to identify the temperament classifications that describe my children, and had a provocative discussion about birth order and its effect on temperament. Lindsays discussion and demonstration about the usefulness of play in the parent/child interaction were eye-openers for me. I take my responsibilities to my children very seriously, and was surprised to hear that parental participation in play can benefit my children. Although there is an endless stream of parenting advice generated daily, maybe it is time to pick up the crayons again and re-enter the playful world. That was pretty easy advice to follow. At the final session of the course, I inquired whether Lindsay is available for one-on-one personal counseling. If time permits and circumstances require it, I will most definitely be seeking her advice. I will also highly recommend her to any of my colleagues who need guidance in family and relationship therapy.
Angelika provided me with a mother and child reading and it was great. She told me some good ideas on how to ground my Aquarius son, ways that I can make communication better between his father and us and ways that will also help me. I happy to report that I am already implementing some of the ideas she shared on the reading and can't wait to learn more to help be a better parent.

The journey of psychological care commences and ends with trust. The moment a person begins working with his or her psychotherapist is a time of discovery for both the person and the therapist. There are these complex patterns of interwoven feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors which can often feel overwhelming. However, over time, a person can learn new ways of understanding his or her difficult situation. In every therapeutic problem, I will walk with you during your journey and narrate to you what I see. In turn, you get to make up your mind what you will do, and you will have my support. I serve the San Bernardino mountain communities, including Crestline and Lake Arrowhead. I will work to understand the presenting problems and offer empirically validated solutions that have been proven to work with many people in similar situations. The primary goal of my practice is to provide you with professional-quality psychological services that address your needs and to provide you with an opportunity to develop solutions to the challenges you face. Deciding to see a psychotherapist is sometimes a difficult decision. Many questions often come up. Will this person understand my problems? What will my family think about me seeing a shrink? Will I be able to get the help I need? These are common types of questions people face when dealing with serious issues that are not easy to repair. If the problems were easy, why bother with seeing a psychologist? Although no psychological service can promise to fix anything, providing a holistic, person-centered, and spiritually sensitive environment to develop an understanding of the problem and potential solutions to problems is a primary goal of my psychological practice. For clients requiring psychological assessment, I offer a full range of assessment services for older children and adolescents, adults, couples, and seniors. The needs of the assessment will determine the psychological instruments that are used. At the completion of the assessment, a treatment plan will be provided.
