I hired Murray to play his sax at my Granmothers outdoor graveside service in late October. He played several songs at the start of the service and several songs at the end. The service was approximately 45 mins long with about 25 attendees. He was very good, on time, respectful and appropriately dressed. People were impressed.

Like many people, music speaks to me in invaluable ways. Since I was six years old, much of my life has revolved around learning new instruments and enhancing my skills as a musician, whether it be singing, playing or simply listening. I was told that if you learn piano, you can learn anything. While that journey to learn everything about music will always be ongoing, I'd love to show and teach people what I have learned through my years of experience. Guitar is one of the instruments I have excelled at, and I have become exceptional. I love to perform and teach others the love and feeling that music can bring. If you're interested, feel free to contact me, and I would love to start off at the basics, jam out, or simply discuss the further application of music into your life.

I grew up part of my life in Los Angeles, California, and the other part in Merida Yucatan in Mexico. I have taught Spanish both to retirees living in Mexico from United States and Europe and in the United States. This is a side job I do about 8 to 10 hours per week. I am completely fluent in both English and Spanish. I am self-taught in Spanish, and although I am fluent now, when I was young, I had to figure the language out for myself. This gives me an edge that native Spanish speakers don't have. I have always gotten a lot of good feedback from everyone I have tutored in Spanish, and I hope to work with you in the near future!
I offer Hebrew lessons. I am a PhD student in Claremont. I am fluent in modern Hebrew, and I have a teaching certificate from Israel.
In 2010, I received my bachelor of arts in classical voice from California State University San Bernardino. Then I continued my education and received my master of music in classical voice from Manhattan School of Music and graduated in 2012. Currently, I teach music part-time at a Catholic School in Covina and sing every Sunday as the soprano soloist for Pilgrim Congregational Church in Pomona. I believe in a healthy and natural approach to singing. I also believe that a singer should be trained in music theory, rhythm and ear training. I teach both of these essential aspects in my lessons. During the 2007-08 academic year, I studied abroad in Southern Germany through CSUSB's International Program. For an entire year, I studied the German language while I continued my studies in voice. The summer between my master's degree, I studied in Florence, Italy. Those days were spent eating, breathing, learning the Italian language and way of life. I share both of these experiences with you because as a classical soloist, it is required that you sing and preferably speak in as many languages as possible. With time spent in both these beautiful countries, I had the opportunity to completely embrace the culture and language. I realize you may not want to be a classical singer; however, if you learn the technique of one, I guarantee you can sing any type of music you please. You see, in Opera there are no microphones or anything to enhance the volume of one's voice. Therefore, one has no choice but to do it correctly. My goal as your teacher will be to help you understand your voice and for you sing to the best of your ability, with a healthy and natural technique.
