Mike was a true professional and did a great job on my kitchen backsplash install. He went the extra mile and helped put my oven hood back on that required him to get in the attic crawl space. Thanks Mike.
I hired Simply Drywall to insulate and drywall two walls and the ceiling in my garage. I also had them build a room in the garage (framing, doorway, and drywall). The estimate provided by Shane was reasonable and realistic. The work was completed on time and on budget. If I have another drywall project I will most likely hire Simply Drywall again.
John did a wonderful job wiring and installing a new ceiling fan! He even fixed a switch in our attic that was out and we were unaware of. I'd definitely recommend him!
Robert climbed through my attic to install my ceiling fan box and wiring. Job is not finished yet because I have not received the longer downrod. So far so good.
We had water leaking out of collection box and it was leaking from roof into bathroom. Sherm Grady came by and replaced the collection box in furnace in attic. He did very professional job. He gave 10% discount too.
Ben did some repairs on the drywall in my garage. He even did some things I hadn't asked him to do. The price was extremely fair. There were no hidden costs. I appreciate that. He was professional, personable, efficient, and a really nice man to boot. I will keep his number and recommend him to friends who need this type of work. I'm very happy I found him!! He needs to stay in business.
Rick has completed several projects in my home, both inside and outside. These include structural repair and repairing/replacing drywall, trim replacement and finishing, ceiling fan installation, painting, installation of wood flooring, pulling coax cabling for internet, installing light in attic, adding an electrical outlet, replacing shower control, and replacing a broken drainage pipe outdoors. The quality of Rick’s work is excellent. His estimates are generally very accurate. Any deviation is explained, usually offering alternatives to the way the work can be completed possible. Rick will offer suggestions and sometimes indicate that doing a particular task is not really necessary or is too expensive for the return. His habits are very neat and pride in his work is evident. He is congenial, hard working, and a pleasure to have working in the home.
Hired Byrne remodel to rebuild my bathroom. To start, I was very impressed with the level of communication recieved prior to hiring. He answered every question I had quickly, responding to probably two dozen or more emails before even signing the contract. We even had to push back the start date due to mold in the attic above the project. I handled the interior demo, but Byrne Remodel handled the rest. Tore out exterior stucco, reframed and installed new window, installed proper ventilation, installed all large and small fixture, cabinets and flooring. Beautiful tile enclosure, with built in storage. Even completed add on work of tiling the walls around the whole bathroom. Everything done on budget and on time. Owner and crew were a pleasure to have in my home, courteous, clean and professional. On time every day, even when the inspection window was an exceedingly early 7am. I was working on other parts of the house at the same time and I wish it was in my budget to have had this crew handle the whole thing. My first time hiring a contractor, and if possible I'd hire Byrne Remodle every time in the future, highly recomended.
Matt is great I got his number from a friend a few years ago for the ants and spiders around my house. Since matt has came out i have had no problems with bugs thank the lord. And this past winter I got rats in my attic and he came and sealed up the holes and I haven't heard anything since. I highly recommend him
Larry was friendly and professional. He helped me out with a small job of replacing some casing around an attic access hatch. He was on time and the quality was excellent.
I replaced an HVAC system that still worked very well but was really old (the furnace was 45 years old, and the A/C 30 years old). I did about a year's research and got eleven bids prior to beginning (getting that many bids was an accident too long to explain, but if I hadn't I wouldn't have tripped across these guys, so it was worth it). When California Energy Services arrived, I was initially unimpressed with the salesman, the brand of equipment used, and the price-- so had elected to go with someone else. To its credit, however, California Energy Services did have a good reputation from various reviews. I had given California Energy Systems a courtesy email to let them know I was going with someone else, and I received a return call essentially telling me to write my own contract. Who can refuse that sort of offer? So, I pulled my favorite pieces from other bids and asked for a much lower price to agree to California Energy Services. I'll be damned, they actually accepted it! I'm even getting a year's free maintenance and a Nest Thermostat tossed in that I had not asked for. The installation crew was friendly, the equipment was installed, and works well so far (the true test will be how well everything lasts over the next 20 years or so). The only negative things about these guys is that they arrived 1.5 hours late and left a mess inside the house (construction dust on the furniture and floors, and grease smeared in the carpet because booties weren't worn and drop cloths not used; fortunately, I was able to totally clean everything up). I called and said something to the sales rep and when while I wasn't there when they came back to finish, I was told they took great care not to repeat the first day's mess. For the huge amount of money I saved by going with these guys for a solid brand name, the lateness and mess are both things I can overlook. Will be adding additional insulation to my attic at some point and will definitely call for a bid. Overall, highly recommended.
I hired Solid General Construction to build an attached 1050 sq ft garage with a gable roof providing attic space via a staircase. In addition, we added a mudroom with half bath and made the previous owner's garage conversion permit legal. We were very happy with the finished product and really were pleased with all the work done by Nick and Zack and their selected subcontractors. This was a large project for Nick and he was totally dedicated to it during it's 3 month duration. He was not trying to juggle several projects at the same time which I appreciated and while he was on-site he spent his time working hard. Nick went out of his way to do little things to have the best possible product, like adding trim and windowsills in the garage, when he really did not have to. He also bought quality building materials when he could have gone for a cheaper alternative. At the end of the day when you go into these projects you should pick a contractor you can trust. Nick and his brother Zack are good guys; I had complete trust in them to get the job done right at a fair price.
Had and issue with my electrical. I wanted to convert and switch to and outlet. Problems was the power coming to the switch was not constant. I called Mr. Skidgel for help. He said he would get to me as soon as he was finished with his current job. He came the same day mid afternoon. He was able to figure out the problem and fix it. He showed me the issue and installed the new outlet in short order. He made sure that all electrical wires were well insulated and would not be a future hazard. He was well mannered and helpful. He charged me fairly and gave me the left over parts in case I wanted to revert back to a switch. He made sure the work area was tidy. He bid me good day and left me his work number.
I met Mark while prospecting advertisers for my previous employer. He was extremely personable and passionate so when I had a pipe rupture in my ceiling, causing water to pool above my kitchen, I called Mark in a panic! He came right out and patched the pipe, pulled wet insulation, and set up drying system! He was a life saver!! And his portfolio is very impressive so when I'm ready to take on bigger projects, he will absolutely be my first choice!
Anthony gave me a great attention on my project planning, very responsive on all my messages and questions. I couldn't move forward with my project because of budget reasons, but if I going to do it on the future Anthony will definitely be a choice.
