FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is fairly easy. Bridal makeup is $150, and every other kind of makeup is $100. Bridal makeup is more expensive because the trial run is $50 which is due as your deposit, and the balance is due the day of the wedding. Lashes are included with all makeup application. Any time requiring staying at the event is billed at either $100/hr or at my half or full day rates. Hourly rates are by half and full day, half day is $450 and full day is $800. Anything less than 6 hours is considered a half day. 6.25 to 10 hours is considered a full day. Hours in excess of that are at $100 per hour. Travel is free up to 50 miles round trip, and is billed at $1 per mile in excess of that. Contact me with more questions regarding pricing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always reading blogs, attending trade shows, and studying new trends by some of the most famous makeup artists. I aspire to be where they are some day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been artistic, and I kind of fell into it by accident. At 19, I decided to apply with MAC Cosmetics on a whim, and I was hired! My life has never been the same since.
