Michelle has been very accommodating and my daughter loves her and is enjoying taking piano lessons under her thank you Michelle!!
My little one is loving her piano lessons! Tailored to her level in a very supportive environment! So glad I found Uprock.
Our vocal lessons are working out great! It's so easy to communicate with everyone and my daughter is having a wonderful experience.
Noemi is great with my daughter. She very sweet and professional. My daughter is very happy with her piano lessons.
My first piano lesson was great. Hitomi put me at ease at her home which translated into a good lesson. I would highly recommend her.
Rick is motivating our grandson and making the lessons positive. Thank you! I know he will continue learning.
Sakurako was was professional, enthusiastic fun to work with. I am an adult beginner and she made my first lesson enjoyable as well as educational. I highly recommend Sakarako for beginners.
Great piano teacher with wonderful patience!
It has always been a musical learning experience beyond the notes on the page for me working with Bob. His knowledge of the history of both the instrument and the music, enriches the learning experience. Bob gives more than just quality music lessons. He shares his in depth knowledge and experience earned over a lifetime of playing and teaching in every lesson.
great! iv been getting guitar lessons for a year now and i've learned so much about music and about the guitar and have improved so much as a songwriter and musician.
I took my daughter to do a first time class and have been taking classes ever since. Noriko is an awesome teacher, she is patient and great with my daughter. My daughter never played the piano before her class with Noriko and she is loving her classes.
Aida is really good with children and my child is engaged when he goes to his lessons. She is able to keep his attention and make the lessons exciting for him. Practicing with him at home is challenging but Aida makes a point to remind me that I should keep it light, since he is so young, and just have him practice for enjoyment. I think that approach helps for him.
Marsha was one of my dance students back in So. San Francisco in the 60's and 70's. After moving to Rocklin, we lost touch until I needed a singing lesson for an upcoming audition. Low and behold I found her on the internet without even knowing who she was...during my first lesson, we talked about dance and discovered that I was her first dance teacher...and now she is my voice teacher...It's a small world and a good one at that....good having you in my life again...Best of Luck to you
Alivia is a fantastic teacher. She tailors the lessons to my daughters voice and ability while also encouraging her to push herself. She incorporates theory and performance into the lesson plan. She is a fantastic teacher.
Really like him after one lesson.
I teach elementary music. With Brandon's help, I was able to record the alto part for our holiday musical into the purchased practice-trax, and double myself singing on piano. Then, we adjusted the volume so it stood above the other parts, but did not overpower. This made a world of difference to my 3rd and 4th grade harmonizers, both students and parents loved it! I absolutely could not have done this without Brandon. He is professional, easy to work with, and a fine musician in addition to his technical skills in the studio. His rates are reasonable and I highly recommend him for any studio project, or lessons!
My seven year old son has been taking piano lessons from Tunjay for a little over a year. David started as a beginner. However, he quickly learned to read music and understand the importance of hand position under his teacher’s guidance. In my son’s words, “Mr. T. is awesome. Whenever I don't understand something, he explains it to me.” I highly recommend Mr. Elkhanzade for piano lessons.
I provide piano lessons/theory lessons. For a 30 minute lessons, I charge $25. For an hour lesson, I charge $45. I have 12 years experience of private lessons and performing. I currently attend UC Davis and I am a double major, one of the majors being music. My profile may say I live in Oakland but I repeat. I do not live in Oakland. I live in Davis, CA I am willing to travel but it depends on where to and I do own a keyboard so if the client would like to come to my home, then we can do the lessons there. Anything you want to learn, 98% of the time, I can teach it to you.
With 40 years teaching and playing experience, I know how to listen to each individual person, adjusting to your way of learning and your strengths. Lots of positive reinforcement helps too. I also am an experienced, certified Alexander Technique teacher which helps me spot when a flutist is working against herself/himself. It's hard to learn when we have tension and habits that contract our neck and spine. I incorporate this deep understanding into my flute lessons, and people learn faster and more easily when they are not fighting tension while playing. My office is in downtown Grass Valley on South Auburn Street.
We offer the basics of theory along with a few chords and the bridge to the grand scale, to or from the piano. It is very helpful if a student knows some chords, although help in the very basics of chording is available.
I teach how to play on piano and how to read basic notes. I'm not a classical teacher. I teach more how to play nice chords and melody. I'm improving hearing. I teach how to do an improvisation. I'm teaching how to play at churches. I cater to modern music, etc.
