When you enjoy what you do your better at it, and Kara really seems to love writing. I was very impressed with the outcome of my writing project and would definitely use her again. The tutor is excellent with my child. She keeps the attention of my child and they do fun assignments that the tutor has created in order to keep my child engaged in reading and in wanting to read more and on her own. The tutor will also speak to the teacher and attend school meetings so that they can have a better understanding on what is being taught at school. They also want to get the feedback from the teacher so that they can better assist the student. I have already referred my child's tutor to 2 people at her school. I would highly recommend for anyone to use their tutoring services.

Marc tutored my son in French for several years while he was studying for the Brevet and the Baccalauréat at the Lycée Français La Pérouse in San Francisco. I doubt that my son could have passed these exams without Marc's help. Besides being a native speaker of French, Marc's training is in language and translation, and so he also knows the mechanics and methods of teaching. He also always strove to make the lessons interesting by introducing different topics and trying various teaching methods. I would recommend Marc unreservedly to anyone looking for a French tutor.

I am a student at UC Davis, majoring in Spanish. Andry has been an amazing tutor. During our sessions, she helps me with my essay compositions and projects. She is also very responsive and will go out of her way to correct your papers on her own time. Thanks to Andry, I feel confident in the work I submit and I have been able to stay on track with all of my assignments. Thanks Andry, you are the best!

About

Triton tutoring specializes in one-on-one, in-home math tutoring. Unlike most "tutoring" services, our career tutors do things the right way: Our tutors will tailor lessons to the students' learning style and individual needs, utilizing proven techniques to facilitate deep understanding of the concepts required. Students turn to tutoring because they can't understand math in the context of a lecture format, where the instructor attempts to impart knowledge through memorization. Our tutors focus on math SKILLS and avoid memorization all together! Students excel at learning when they DO the math, through structured trial and error, instead of just HEARING IT!

About

I teach and tutor Spanish and Math. I am a native Spanish speaker and have taught children in the k-12 school system, as well as adults.

About

I'm excellent at connecting math to other things that seem more interesting, leading to higher test scores and greater success.

About

I have a long track history of writing interesting, focused, and persuasive papers for academic and college settings. Over the years, I have developed a keen eye for spotting, defining, and repairing many types of common and special errors typical of student papers, from developing the bare bones of a thesis and layout of a paper to refining tone, word choice, transition of ideas, and more, along with having a good practical use of all the structures associated with writing good, clean academic papers (grammar, spelling, formatting standards, etc.). Throughout my high school and college years, I found I had a good knack for sighting and suggesting improvements for my peers' papers, and each time, the paper got a higher grade. Now I hope to bring these skills to help you. In my past tutoring and editing experience, I have mostly worked with high school and college students, but I am more than willing to work with any skill level provided the individual client is mature, motivated, and prepared to improve their work, even if it means facing some hard facts about some of their writing habits. Each client I have worked with has taught me something new both about being a tutor and being a shrewd freelancer, and I only want my experience in this field to continue to grow. I am more than willing to adjust to your needs, provided they are reasonable ones, and look forward to seeing more clients succeed at their academic goals.
