I absolutely love working with David. He's the first vocal coach/vocal lessons I've EVER had, and I couldn't ask for a better one. It's only been my 5th lesson and so much has improved. He makes vocal lessons fun and something you look forward to. I DEFINITELY recommend David if you are looking into taking lessons. You wont regret it!
I took several vocal lessons with Daniel and noticed improvement right from the start. Daniel was able to identify my trouble areas very quickly and gave me exercises to help strengthen my voice. The lessons are no-nonsense. Daniel gets right to the good stuff, focusing on the songs in my repertoire, rather than other material or just exercises. Daniel was encouraging, but honest. I left each lesson feeling good ab out my singing, but also focused on the ways I can improve. Daniel was always on time and has a great setup for recording each lesson, which was really nice. You get to keep the lesson to listen to again! The only minor down side is the parking around Watermelon Music in Davis, which can be a hassle. So make sure you get there a bit early. I only paused my lessons to save some extra cash for my anniversary. Can't wait to get back to our lessons!
Daniel has been an excellent voice coach to my daughter. I love the structure he implements on his lessons and his patience of teaching my 9 year old. He continuously motivates, and guides her while learning her favorite songs and explains the importance of practicing during the week to gain full advantage of the voice lessons. I strongly recommend his lessons, he's very talented and experienced person.
Professional and extremely knowledgeable are the first things that come to mind when I think of Chris, this guy is definitely not some guitar dude burnout teaching people to jam out. Written and well thought out lesson plans, he was able to explain music theory that was a complete foreign language to me and make sense out of it. Great knowledge of scales and really catered the lessons to what I wanted to play, overall a great teacher I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guitar teacher. By the way this guy plays the guitar like you would not believe as well!!!!!!
I teach piano & voice lessons with grace and style at my studio. If you know anything about a Thomas Jefferson approach to teaching, I use many of those principles. I offer piano and voice instruction with an emphasis on the student, instead of the desires of the instructor. I provide a varied lesson which is well balanced and includes theory, exercises, fun, performance and quality work. Twenty-five years plus of teaching have given insights impossible for a new instructor. As a life coach in addition, your lesson will ultimately include skills in many areas of goal setting, success and confidence. Previous students now bring their children to PPP to carry on the tradition of class, education and a love of the arts.
I took voice lessons from Jenny for a year. In that year I learned about breath control, spacing of the mouth, and articulation. She is very personable and a great teacher. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great piano and vocalist teacher.
I'm located at Elk Grove, CA. I teach 1-hour lessons once a week only. I teach only in Elk Grove at my home. Because I'm an active performer, I am only available from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Right now, I have several open slots between 12 P.M. to 7 P.M. I am looking for students who are ready to work hard and dedicate themselves 100% to my teaching program. Even if you have never sung before or think you have no talent for singing, EVERYONE should learn to sing, regardless! Yes, there are some people on this earth were born to sing and that gift should be guided continuously and carefully, but on the other spectrum, EVERYONE should learn to sing no matter what. Its like... everyone should get a good nights sleep, get regular exercise, eat healthy and.... sing regularly! These are all a part of having a full and healthy life. Learning to sing is not only about singing scales... yes, you read that correctly. Give me the opportunity to teach you my secrets and my technique and you'll see what I mean. It's all about awareness and confidence. I am a teacher, not just a coach. Did you know there is a difference between a coach and a teacher? A coach only prepares you for a song performance or audition preparation in genre style and would know how to play the piano to give accompaniment. A Teacher does not have to know how to play piano because they concentrate on anatomy and technique. (I prepare instrumental accompaniment on CD, so no problem there) Although both are experienced on stage credibility, a teacher is college trained and licensed. A coach is not. Although I give coaching at a minimum of three lessons, I offer intense vocal training as well. My voice teaching requires the student to dedicate themselves to a 12 month long (or longer) program. I am very good at breaking down the voice and identifying the student's strengths and weaknesses using various exercises. I prefer to work with the students' voice first before moving on to performance skills (presentation of song). I am very patient, fun, enthusiastic, and with high energy. I love working with children as much as adults. I strongly support the basic skills, such as sight reading (pitch and tone) and vocal control (posture/breathing). I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching kids and adults privately. My subjects include voice (music theory, history and composition), drama (theater, improvement and others), music production (and technology) and guitar teaching. The location is at my home/studio. Travel radius is not applicable. As to education, I have a BFA in Music/Theater from UCI. Please call or email for artes. My current available hours are from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 12 noon to 8 P.M. I teach voice students the elements of vocal technique, including posture, breath support, and opening of the throat. I incorporate these elements into basic warm-ups to start. Over time, the lessons start with warm-ups, and the students sing songs of their choice, which are within their range and level. I teach students of various ages and walks of life, from students who want to develop a new hobby to serious singers who have gone on to appear on professional stages around the country. I teach piano students the basics of piano technique, theory, and musicality. Interested students are encouraged to perform in one or two recitals a year in a fun and supportive environment.
I have 3 granddaughters who have taken piano/voice lessons from Landon. She has a very vibrant personality and is very enthusiastic in teaching children a love of music. Her technique is positive and she is able to engage a child right at their level and teach them the skills they need to sing or play the piano.
Are you preparing for a competition? Do you have aspirations of getting a music degree? Or do you want to be a stronger shower singer? I am now taking students ages 15 and up, all voice types. Learn proper breathing and posture, get past the passagios to open up a healthy, wide range. Don't just learn how to sing - learn how to perform! Classically trained, I have a Bachelor of Music w/emphasis in Vocal Performance and a law degree. I have taught private voice and piano lessons for 14 years. We begin with classical singing, then move into belt-mix style and even a little pop. If you live in Elk Grove or Sacramento, I come to you! Weekly lessons are 45 min. It helps a lot to have basic keyboard skills, but it is not required.
My 7 year old daughter just had her first session with DD. My daughter is usually very shy, however, DD did a great job making her feel comfortable and open up. I did not want my daughter to feel like she "HAD" to sing or feel any pressure as if it was work. DD makes singing lessons fun and exciting which is great for my 7 year old to stay interested in strengthening her vocal skills. My daughter and I look forward to working with DD!
