PC officiated our wedding this September and we couldn't have picked a better officiant! He was wonderful to me and my husband and really made us and our families feel great on the big day. BEST OFFICIANT EVER!!! Not that I have had many, just one, PC Walker, but he is so talented and professional that I would recommend him over and over again. My Husband and I met PC for the first time about a month before the wedding, so we can get to know him and he can get to know us. He's very well spoken for, great listener and hilarious. He asked for our input for the ceremony, things we envisioned and any special touches that we wanted added, but he takes care of everything, which is a huge help while planning such a stressful day. Over the next month, he was easily accessible via e-mail, phone, texts (a trendy and techy officiant!). He followed up with things without adding stress. PC reassured us that he will take care of all things rehearsal and ceremony related and he definitely did. PC guided the rehearsal the day before our wedding and it was smooth, easy and fast. He was early to both the rehearsal and the wedding itself (we never had issues with his time). He did an incredible job the day of our wedding. He made our ceremony unique and special. The day we met, he offered to write our vows (he's a writer, as well as a public speaker), and that came through at our wedding. The words were heartfelt, personalized to us, beautifully written and with a touch of humor. He spoke in a precise, clear and coherent manner. I'm so thankful to have found PC and grateful that he agreed to officiant our wedding. I was a bit nervous at first as there were no reviews, but after our first meeting, I knew PC was talented (and he has some videos on his website, where it shows that he's a great public speaker). I wanted to share my experience to reassure the next bride of the quality of PC's work. Pros: great writer and speaker, on time (even early), funny, personable, easy to talk to, pays attention, easy to get a hold of, plus so many other pros Cons: NONE

I had a last minute wedding for my son, and could not find anyone appropriate to officiate the wedding. I e-mailed Thumbtack and got a respond from PC a couple of hours. He then called me. The minute I spoke to him on the phone, I know he was the right person for the job. I looked up his credentials, and it is impeccable. I even linked him to people I know. He is capable of filling every shoe. He is funny, but serious. He is spiritual, and yet respectful of any other religious preference. He can address any occasion you have in mind. PC even moved his schedule around to take care of me. He is awesome. I have him on speed dial for all my future events.

PC did a fantastic job officiating our wedding, and we can't imagine asking someone else to be such an important part of such an important day. He met with us weekly for premarital counseling in the months leading up to the wedding, and was very flexible with our work and school schedules. He gave us insight and advice as we learned about God's purpose for marriage and how to live within it. He walked us through the ceremony schedule and asked about some of the finer details about our relationship, how we had met, etc., which he later used to write his sermon at our ceremony. He asked us if there were any traditions or ceremonies we wanted to include in our wedding, and included them in a ceremony schedule for us. He worked with us when we wanted to find a place to include family members and important people in our wedding but didn't know how. On our wedding day, PC reminded us to relax and enjoy the day. He helped us to remember to focus on each other and not on the details or stress of the wedding. The sermon he wrote for us was beautiful and personal. PC spoke about the Biblical purpose of marriage, us, and our relationship with each other and with God. We are so happy to count him as a friend and to be able to share our wedding with him. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The quote you receive is a flat price that includes the rehearsal dinner. You can take $50 off of the price if you do not need or want me at the rehearsal. I also have plenty of experience organizing and running the rehearsal if you have no one else to do so.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to have a meeting with the couple (over coffee if possible) where I can let them get to know me and I get to know the couple and their story. After that, I am very accessible by text, email, or phone to help make any arrangements I need or they need from me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MA in Intellectual Leadership and have done graduate work in Christian Leadership
