Beth is an incredible dog trainer. She's helped give us information on how to help our Bella and worked with us on getting her leash aggression under control. She is very fast with responses and getting back to you. Thanks!

I would highly recommend Paula as a dog trainer. She worked with my dog Sandy and I saw amazing results. Sandy was a hyper dog who would run off if a door was left open. After working with Paula, Sandy became a wonderful, calm, gentle companion for our family and quit running off. She also was able to work with my kids and teach them how to handle Sandy.

Erika is my go-to person for dog training and dog sitting! I have two rescue dogs, both adopted at the age of two with no training. Needless to say I needed help badly! Now my pups sit and wait to go in and out of doors, and they will do most anything for a treat. It's also nice to be able to go out of town and not have to worry about my fur babies! She's the only one I trust with them (and also to stay at my home with them), and she sends me plenty of updates while I'm gone.

The most amazing Dog Trainer I have ever met. Not your run of the mill obedience trainer. He changes the dogs behavior and way of thinking. I foster for a dog rescue and have referred him to adoptors. Many are skeptical that things can change in just 1 appointment but always come back with big thank you's. If you are looking for a trainer you already love your dog. So do your pet a favor and call Ben!

Mel is a terrific and patient dog trainer. She trains the owners how to speak to the dogs to get the best results through positive reinforcement. We went back for a higher level class, and were very happy to see how quickly our dog, Max, was able to learn new commands and become calmer!

I bought a dog (german shepherd puppy) from Kris a couple years ago for sport work. He set me up with training and my dog is THE best trained dog I have ever owned. She has a balanced and stable temperament on top of fantastic obedience and protection. I am so incredibly happy with her and Kris is extremely knowledgeable in dog behavior and dog training of all aspects. I recommend Taylor made Working Dogs for any source of dog training or buying.

Sarah is one of the most compassionate and empathetic dog trainers I know. I interned with her to become a dog trainer, myself, but had been training dogs for years prior. Some insights she have me into techniques I had taken for granted were remarkable. Her methods elicit results so quickly. I get real pleasure out of just watching her work and it has made me a better trainer as well. I own and train the Guinness Worls Record surfing dog, Abbie Girl.

Lyn has pet sit for us several times. Our beagle Romy adores staying with her while we are gone and Lyn is always willing to go the extra mile for our cats, chickens and rabbit at home. We come home to happy, healthy and clean animals. I highly recommend Lyn for any pet care position you may have.

Maggie was my trainer in SF until she broke my heart and relocated to San Diego. I really enjoyed our time together as she incorporated things I like to do (Pilates, strength training) into my routine while making sure I never got bored. She also made me do things I don't like (running, stairs) to make sure that my workout was well rounded. I also had never worked out outside before (and didn't think I would like it) and found out that it could be very enjoyable.

Ed has been our dog trainer for about two years now. We could have stopped going to class a long time ago, but my dog and I had so much fun we keep going back. Ed has helped turn my rescue "project" into a perfect gentleman with hands-on classes and clear, no nonsense instruction. He is reliable, enthusiastic, and cares about your results. Class is an hour, but he is always willing to spend the extra time it takes to get it right.

Mike worked with dog, Rocco, and I to prepare for the CGC test. He is not only an excellent trainer, who has perfected his skill set and demonstrates passion combined with eternal patience, he is very personable and caring. He was just as invested in Rocco's success as I was. I could not recommend him more highly. We hope to continue training with Mike and go on to take therapy dog and maybe service dog tests in the future.

I knew and admired Gonzalo as a dog trainer for years before he worked with me and my bull mastiff puppy Jameson. There's a natural ease to his demeanor with dogs that takes the pressure off "training". His patient and thoughtful Approach made it easy for me to slow down and become attuned to my puppy, the time we were spending together and what I wanted us to accomplish. He sees the unique relationship between each dog and owner and helps them to find a balance. I've been able to easily integrate his helpful hints, techniques and perspective in to our daily routine. I still seek Gonzalo's counsel from across the country and will continue to do so no matter where we end up.

Greg is a talented and supportive dog trainer for dogs and their parents alike. Much of his teaching is based on the philosophy contained in Karen Pryor’s book, Don’t Shoot The Dog! We have found his understanding of what makes dogs tick at different stages of their development indispensable in training our young male mixed breed.

I needed help with my newly adopted 3.5 yr. old beautiful, strong-willed pit bull terrier. After being rejected by another trainer, Nikki @ Sky's the Limit agreed to take on the challenge. After 3 weeks, Izzy successfully graduated from her basic obedience training a better dog. She will follow commands now. The issue now is getting the humans to become better "parents ". Thank goodness there are 3 training sessions for us as well. Nikki was great with my girl and is always a phone call or text away. Her calm and reassuring demeanor has taken the fear and anxiety out of the situation helping me believe that I can be a trusted Alpha in no time at all; as long as I am consistent. It has been a great experience and I highly recommend Nikki and Sky's the Limit to anyone who needs or wants to teach an old dog new tricks.

We brought our very wild border collie puppy, Max, to Pawsitive Principles for puppy training thinking this would be quite the sports challenge for Bree. We were amazed at how quickly she was able to gain Max's trust and attention. At the second class, Bree was able to teach Max to lie down, using no words or treats, only her eyes, in about 15 seconds. I was shocked (and lost a bet) to say the least. Classes were run with logical progression. Training was tailored to each dog in the class based on their current abilities. Both dogs and owners had a lot of fun. Bree has the rare ability to understand dogs so she can help owners train their pets in a kind, positive manner which makes it enjoyable for all! I would highly recommend any training at Pawsitive Principles.

I’ve avoided hiring a local dog trainer or taking my dog to obedience school because of time and expense. When I learned I could get a 30 minute consultation for just $25, I figured I had nothing to lose. The phone call went far beyond my expectations—Heidi was so helpful. She quickly assessed my dog’s primary behavior patterns based on his breed (hound/terrier/shepherd mix) and suggested types of agility training he would respond to. Then she laid out 3 simple obedience lessons we could work on as a basis for further training. Her advice was simple, clear, and based solely on positive reinforcement. She recommended books to read and types of treats and treat bags to use—I have a full page of notes and am excited to get started. The consultation is SUCH a great value, and Heidi’s friendly, non-judgmental professionalism was exactly what I needed to feel confident that my dog and I will make progress.
