After struggling for years with deep-rooted trauma, emotional instability,
and a severe lack of self-worth, I realized something needed to change.
Nothing seemed to be working. One day, I hit bottom so hard that I found myself praying (something I had never done before). And to my surprise,
my prayer was answered. Loudly. I realized from this experience that I have a well of wisdom within me. Or, rather, a clear radio signal to a Higher
Consciousness; something that knows more than I do. And so, I began to
listen to it.
After three years of listening to, and trusting this wise voice within me, I
have transformed my body and mind, rewritten my core beliefs, manifested a multitude of my desires, and aligned with who I truly am, amongst many
other amazing changes.
The internal guidance that I reconnected with, and have listened to, ever
since that day, is something we all have within us. It is not a special power
that only I have; it is our True Nature. We are Creators. We are designed to create our reality through our Beliefs, and we have the power to heal
ourselves from the inside out. But it starts within us, by listening to this
voice. And I am here to help you reconnect with yours.
As a NASM-CPT, registered yoga teacher, and manifestation expert, I have a very unique, and unconventional approach to mind-body coaching. As
mentioned above, this program is designed to guide you toward radical
transformation in your life, both physically and mentally.
With your conscious effort, intention, and most importantly, your
commitment to change, this program will lead you to some, or all of the

I use a wide variety of techniques and practices, including, but not limited

-Journal prompts
Sessions can be done at Mission Bay, on the beach, anywhere where we can tune into the energy of nature, or, at your house.
Typically, each session has its own theme, as the practices and exercises of each session match that specific theme. Sometimes, the location of the
session will also match the theme. For example, if we are doing "The
Elements" program, and the session we are doing is "Water", we may have
a session on the beach, bay, or near water, and we may focus more on fluid
and gentle movement.
All workouts are mat-based, and use equipment such as: light to medium
weight dumbbells (anywhere from 2 to 10 lbs), light ankle/wrist weights (1 or 2 lbs), resistance bands, Pilates ball, and/or yoga block(s). I provide
equipment, unless you prefer to use your own.
If you'd like to bring a journal or notepad for the reflections, feel free.
Otherwise, I will email you reflections and journal prompts after each
session, which can be done on your own time, and don't need to be shared
unless you would like to talk through them. I do, however, encourage
participation with the reflections and journal prompts, as they will help you
to solidify and marinate in some of the work we do in each session. Think of
them as your "homework", except that you won't need to hand them in,
and you definitely will not be graded. Unless you want to share something
with me - that is always welcome. :)
While Reconnect by Emily is a holistic approach to guiding you toward
change in your life, if you prefer to focus more on body vs. mind, or vice
versa, or something else more specifically, we can tweak the program to
match your needs and goals.
