FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is upfront and honest — no surprises on the invoice. Carpet cleaning starts at a $175 service minimum, with most homes landing between $175 and $400 depending on the number of rooms and square footage. Upholstery starts around $175 for a standard sofa. There are no hidden trip fees, and pre-treatment of traffic lanes and basic spot treatment are always included. A few ways to save: book carpet and upholstery together in one visit and I'll take 10% off the upholstery, and recurring clients get a standing discount on every visit. Pet-stain enzyme treatment and fabric protection are affordable add-ons I'll only recommend if your situation actually calls for it. You'll always get an exact quote before I start — never a vague "it depends."
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's simple and built around your time. First, you text or message me your zip code, the rooms or furniture you need cleaned, and any photos of problem areas — I'll send back an exact quote, usually within minutes. Once you book, I confirm a window that fits your schedule, often same week. On the day, I do a quick walkthrough with you, move light furniture, pre-vacuum and pre-treat traffic lanes and stains, then clean using hot-water extraction. Before I leave, we walk the job together so you're 100% happy. Most carpets are dry in about two hours, and I'll share simple tips to keep everything looking fresh longer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I run La Clean House full-time and take this craft seriously. I clean using hot-water extraction — the method carpet manufacturers like Shaw and Mohawk recommend to keep your warranty valid — and I follow IICRC-aligned best practices for fiber identification, pre-testing, and stain chemistry so I use the right approach for each material. I invest in professional-grade heated extraction equipment rather than rental machines, and I keep learning as products and fabrics evolve. The result is a deeper clean, faster dry times, and the confidence that your carpet and furniture are being handled by someone who knows the difference between fabrics, not a one-method-fits-all approach.
