Monica was in charge of our work Holiday party with 200 guests and handled everything flawlessly from start to finish! She was very professional, extremely helpful and had amazing suggestions! This was by far the best event we have had in years!
Highly recommended !!! Arash has been helping us with designing our living +dining room . The first day he came in to our home , he suggested a few changes to our existing furniture in terms of placement and with just that our home looked so different /better. His eye for design is impeccable ! What I really liked about Arash is that he listens to my husband's and my preferences and offers a style that meets both our needs. He takes time to understand our taste and come up with design suggestions. He is very knowledgeable and professional. We are still in the process of transforming the space and I am very excited to see what he comes up with ! I would highly recommend Arash to anyone looking to hire a designer who really listens to his clients and delivers in everyway !!!
Andrea at Events by Abel is truly fantastic! I first met Andrea through her organizing a running event, and the weekend went by seamlessly. I next attended an event she coordinated to raise money for the American Cancer Society. That event was classy, tasteful and so creative. Andrea is incredibly organized, super detail-oriented and has one of the strongest work ethics I've ever seen. Not to mention, she can make anyone she's around feel comfortable and at ease. If I ever have an event I need help with (wedding, fundraiser, party, etc) - Andrea will be the first person I come to. If you're considering reaching out to her, I think you'll be happy you did!

Rinna was invaluable on our wedding day. She was hired for her day-of coordinator services and was absolutely great to work with. Not only did she take the time to go through the wedding day timeline multiple times with us, but she also was very thorough and made contact with all of our vendors beforehand. She even took time from her schedule to help do our final walk through prior to the wedding. On the day of our wedding, we did not have a single worry thanks to her. She and her assistant were very prompt and helped set up our venue exactly the way we imagined. She was able to help with any issues from the venue or vendors and made our guests feel at ease. Rinna was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Shannon did a great job paiting Halloween masks and sugar skulls for our Day of the Dead party. The kids and parents all loved her work!

Chef Marckende was amazing! He came up with an incredibly creative menu (all vegan/vegetarian) with dumplings, potstickers, ramen, and an amazing chocolate, strawberry, blueberry layer cake. He was very responsive in the planning process, even coordinating the on-site setup/visit the night before because we were celebrating a birthday with a group of friends at an AirBnb. Couldn't have imagined a better dining experience for celebrating a birthday with the group of 11. He was very professional, came with all of the necessary supplies, took care of service and clean-up. If you're looking to choose a chef for an event, you're missing out if you don't choose Chef Marckende. He'll create a memorable meal and take care of all the details so you don't have to even think about doing anything else other than enjoying a great meal with great company.
I hired them to do a candy bar for my daughters sweet 16 winter wonderland party. 2 very nice lady's came and set everything up and then came after the party and took everything down. They were extremely nice and very affordable and I highly recommend hiring them

Valentina and her crew worked magic for our corporate holiday party! She had worked hard planning a great way to jazz up our office and surrounding land for an upscale holiday event. Lo and behold, two days before the event - RAIN!! Valentina was able to quickly change gears and transform our new last minute space (Oceanside Museum of Art) into a festive Winter Wonderland, while cooly making things happen. I honestly don't know how she pulled it off with hardly any time. I highly, highly recommend Valentina and her team. I really appreciate that she LOVES her craft and it shows.

Michele was an amazing wedding planner. In addition to being very detailed oriented, she was very communicative, accommodating, and understanding. She knew when to handle the details on our behalf, and when to pull us in for our input. She came with great referrals for all of the other parties needed to throw a wedding ceremony. Planning for a wedding is always a bit stressful, but on the day-of, I was worry-free about the ceremony and reception -- it all went off without a single hitch.
It was a pleasure to work with Vanessa. She catered to our needs and made my 40th Birthday Party spectacular. She has a lot of great connections with a baker (who made amazing dairy-free cupcakes and cake), lighting, and food. What a gem!
I did business with DJ Charlie twice. He was my wedding DJ and MC in September and very recently he was hired to provide up lighting and dance floor lighting at my brothers birthday party. The only reason he wasnt a DJ there is because it was on a short notice and Charlie had already been booked. My family, my coworkers and my friends were very happy both times. Charlie knows what hes doing and he is more than just a DJ. He knows how to work with all kinds of people to make them happy and avoid any possible conflicts or misunderstandings. He is also an excellent MC and at our wedding he made sure everyone knew what was happening or was about to happen and when. Ive never seen so many people pleased with the music and dancing for so long as it was at our wedding. All of Charlies lights look really good; otherwise, we wouldnt have rented them again. Im very happy I finally found a DJ who gives his advice but always listens to me and who I can trust. Charlie was just hired to be a DJ at my friends wedding next summer. Gary
Krista did my wedding invitations and my wedding favor tags. I was blown away! Every aspect of planning my wedding was becoming more and more stressful, and the first fun thing I did for my wedding was to work with Krista on making a design for my invitations. I did not have a clear vision of what I wanted and Krista helped me to make decisions through small steps. It was overwhelming looking online at all sorts of different invitations, but Krista asked me simple questions that helped me to weed out what I didnt want and discover what I did want. I ended up with an overall product that really gave guests a glimpse into what the wedding would be like. I had so many compliments on my invitations, and they were one of a kind. Krista was always quick to respond to me, met all of her deadlines, and never even batted an eye when I asked for MULTIPLE revisions. Her attention to detail is amazing, and there is nothing I would change about my final product. I had no idea that I could get custom invitations at a reasonable price. Only a few weeks before my wedding I asked if Krista could help me with my favor tags since I was running out of time to do them myself. Krista came up with an amazing design that matched our invitations and had them to me in record time. Working with Krista on the invitations and favor tags was probably the smoothest part of planning my wedding. With Babies on the brain I know I will be in touch soon to help with baby announcements and kid birthday parties. I am a customer for life. Thank you Krista!!!
We had Portero Concierge handle our 50 wedding anniversary party. Everything went off without a hitch. The setting and the attention to detail was superb.
