Cory is amazing and I have nothing but great things to say. I was originally nervous about paying for a personal trainer but after my first week I didn’t mind at all. Cory pushes me to not only perform better but also to try new workouts. She took the time to give me workouts that allowed me to workout with the limited equipment at my apartment on days I don’t meet with her. I was going to the gym 5 days a week before I started working with Cory and I wasn’t seeing any difference. Now I work out 3-4 times a week her workouts are challenging and intense. I feel more energized, stronger and more toned. I have a hard time with counting calories and finding the right food to eat and Cory has been very helpful by giving me healthy, low calorie foods to eat without forcing me to do a meal plan. I’ve been working with Cory for just over a month now and I am seriously so happy I chose to work with her! I’ve gained an inch on my biceps, strengthened muscle and put on three pounds. She is incredibly educated on the human body, proper form in the gym and the mechanics of personal training. Cory truly cares about her clients more than I can express and to say she is passionate about seeing results in those who work with her is a tremendous understatement. Every session with Cory is very productive and always leaves me itching to come back. There is a lot of fun to be had in the gym and Cory is certainly aware of that. I am so glad I decided to work with her. Cory has a beautiful spirit and is a very kindhearted, genuine person. Incredible - after years of trying out other trainers, I always found it hard to stick with someone. Cory changed all that! Her combination of hard work, humor, flexibility and honesty have allowed me to dig deep and find strength in me that I didn't even know I had. From the first meeting where she nudged me to think about my goals, to now, 2 months later, it feels as though I'm well on my way to achieving those goals and more. Cory is the first personal trainer I've ever had, and since our first session together I've been hooked. She listens to your goals and creates a plan that fits for YOU to help you reach them. I have seen so much progress in my body since we started working together, which is such an empowering feeling. I even hit one of my forever fitness goals the other day! She is always quick to respond, uber-punctual, and very professional. You can tell that training is her passion and she really wants to see her clients succeed. Prices are dependent on how often we see each other and how long the sessions are. My goal is to help people change their lives for the better, and cost shouldn't be something that holds you back.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?For each new potential trainee, I offer a 100% free, no-obligation training session and consultation so you can get a feel for me, my training style and my private facility. Before, during and after the session, we'll get to know each other more thoroughly, I'll learn your nutrition habits and you'll be able to see all of the options available to you to make an informed decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from Cal State University - Monterrey Bay with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology (the study of human movement). I am certified with The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
