Introduction: Hello there! My name is Cory Wiedeman, and I'm a Personal Trainer with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology (study of human movement). There's more to life than just the gym, and feeling better about your body can permeate in to other areas of your life. Your relationships, your work life and more can get a boost from feeling better. While it begins with a conversation, it can have lasting effects through improved habits. You'll be training at my 100%-private personal training facility, so you won't need to deal with the normal "gym" scene at all where there are no membership fees. Personal training is absolutely worth it when it delivers a feeling of increased confidence, increased mobility, a sense of accomplishment and many others. I like to have the “friend” vibe with clients and during training because I genuinely care about all my clients, their lives, and their results! I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Corey is the best personal trainer you’ll find in San Diego. I sought her out for muscle training so I can become stronger. It’s been amazing the progress I have made the last 6 months. ( I would be farther a long if I was better about my diet, but that’s a work in progress for me). Her professionalism is top tier, knowledge and experience is 10+ years. She will know the kind of career you have or injuries just by looking at the way you stand. I had a pelvic tilt ( no idea that was a thing) but it caused me back pain. She told me how to fix it and 2 weeks later I was feeling better! She is the sweetest and most genuine trainer and person you will meet. She really cares about her clients and their progress and how they reach their goals. She keeps me accountable for my diet and will tell me if I’m doing an exercise wrong. Form is important people, not just how much weight you can do! Sometimes I skip breakfast, because sleep is more important, and she will offer me some of her delicious snacks. As I started going to the gym more on my own she would text me everyday to see how I was doing ( going to the gym is scary) and would encourage me. If you want a trainer who keeps you accountable, makes you laugh, has great taste in music, gets you the results you want, and will also turn into a friend you should definitely have a consultation! The private studio/gym she is at, is also a safe space and in a great part of town.

If you’ve tried working with a personal trainer before and didn’t feel like your goals or concerns were truly being listened to and taken seriously, expect the exact opposite from Cory. She’s a true professional with the experience and education to help you achieve your long term goals in a healthy way. Cory has a degree in Kinesiology and has a deep understanding of the anatomy and mechanics of the human body. She knows how to motivate you and push you without overtraining you, and she will constantly ensure you have correct form to prevent injury. Cory genuinely cares about her clients and their progress. Even when I’ve had to reschedule or skip a session, she would offer to build a workout routine for me to do on my own in the meantime. And she will text me a reminder to make sure I stretch! Lol There’s nothing worse than trying to get back in shape but feeling so sore and exhausted that you dread the next workout. Every time I finish a workout, I feel energized and accomplished (obviously a little sore the next couple days but not overly exhausted and dreading my next session). She’s helped me get that momentum back to where I look forward to working out again. And it’s not easy to push someone outside their comfort zone but also make it fun. Despite her being a strong coach that takes your workout seriously, she is also a kind person with a great sense of humor, and she will make the workout fly by with how easy she is to talk to. In terms of results, after just a few months of training with Cory, I can confidently say my lower body is stronger than ever, and the pain I used to feel in my ankles, knees, and back while working out has essentially disappeared. In general, not only do I feel better mentally and physically, but I’m seeing gradual improvements in my physique and I’m fitting into my clothes better. With all of that said, I rarely leave reviews, but I truly feel that I’m helping anyone that reads this and decides to invest in their health and fitness by working with Cory. Thank you Cory!

Cory is the first personal trainer I have ever worked with and I have really enjoyed the process so far. She has been very attentive to me and my goals and makes me feel like I’m actually capable of maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Not only is she good at what she does but she’s also just a great person to be around. Being in a new environment, especially one like a gym, can be intimidating for someone that’s new to it. The studio that Cory works in is pretty private, and even if it wasn’t, she makes me comfortable enough to train without me thinking about how silly I look while learning new things. I’ve learned tons already being with her for a short time and I know I will only get better with her help. 10/10.

Best trainer out there!! Cory was amazing & helped me stay on track throughout my training. She also made me feel very comfortable physically & mentally wise. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer.

Cory is amazing and I would highly recommend her as a trainer! While I would love to train with Cory all the time, it just wasn’t realistic for my lifestyle. When I shared that with her, she made sure to set me up for success as much as possible for when I trained on my own. Starting personal training can be intimidating, but I immediately felt very comfortable with Cory. She helped to answer all my questions and tailor all my workouts to both my fitness goals and what equipment was available to me in my own training. Overall I highly recommend Cory, especially if you are unsure where to start or are feeling stagnant in your fitness journey.
