- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our management fees are discussed during the consultation. They typically vary anywhere between 6-8% of the monthly rent depending on the property and the client's specific needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first step is to set up a consultation either in one of our 2 San Diego office locations or at the client's property they would like us to manage or sell. A typical consultation lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour in hopes to find out about our client's needs and goals for their investment property. During that time we answer questions and explain what our services entail. We pride ourselves on tailoring our services based on each of our client's property needs!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Marc Cohen is the owner and broker of Priority One Real Estate Consultants. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting). In 2004, he obtained his Real Estate Broker's License started his own business shortly after that. Melissa Cohen graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. She received her Real Estate License in 2010 where she has been serving San Diego ever since! Every year, Marc is required to take courses from the NMLS and continued education through additional courses from the BRE is required for all Broker's and Real Estate Agents every 3 years. We also receive literature from the top rental trade organizations every month and consistently attend monthly meeting and networking groups to keep a pulse on the San Diego and National Real Estate Market.
