Tina has done numerous things for me over the years....Wedding decorations: Photo collage display, floral bouquets, my bridal hair piece and toe/shoe accents for the bridal party, and other wedding decorations. She did my make up and also sang beautifully. She also made me a hand painted wooden tassel holder and a beautiful hand painted custom bird house. Tina does great work. You won't be sorry if you work with Tina.
Before I give my glowing review of Tiffany, I have to preface the review with a few words so you know that I was in your shoes. Wedding planning sucks and having to stick to a limited budget doesn't it make it easier. As a bride, sometimes you have to cut corners in order to afford simple things (or let's be honest more desired things) for your wedding. Hiring a full service wedding planner, was one of those things that I really wanted, but I knew it would take a huge chunk out of my wedding budget. My wedding was in San Francisco, so its not the cheapest city to have your wedding. But after receiving price quotes from full service wedding planners, their prices depressed me (adding unnecessary stress to my wedding budget woes) and when I looked at their packages, I just didn't feel like it was right for me or my budget. I had to take a step back, breathe, and take ownership of wedding planning and face reality. I knew what Id need to do, to stay on budget. I had big decisions to make as a bride, but I knew I could save a ton, if I planned my own wedding. So I thought hey I plan many events for my friends, family, and clients all the time, weve got about 85-100 guests to invite, why not plan my own wedding, and hire a day of coordinator to save money?" I did just that and when I was in the process of looking for a day of coordinator, my next thought was, "shoot if I hire a day of coordinator, will I overlook something and regret not hiring a full service wedding planner?". With caution, I started to ask for quotes for day of coordinators and realized right away what I needed to do. I put a request up on Thumbtack and the email quotes came rolling in. I was astonished. But I was in a conundrum - every price was competitive, so how does one choose a vendor over the other. All of them had amazing reviews (which put my initial concerns more at ease). I spent a few days emailing back different vendors, asking them questions, reading their reviews, even looking them up on Linkedin! I did some my research and eventually decided on Tiffany Won. Choosing her as the day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. 3 pieces of advice if you DIY: First off ladies, have more confidence in your planning abilities and use the resources the internet provides you (there are a ton of wedding checklists and schedules online to help you plan your own wedding, and for inspiration for décor or what not, pinterest was key for me). It might be intimating at first, and the time involved in planning your wedding might feel like an absolute time suck, but trust in yourself and plan your day. No one has a better vision of what you want for your wedding, more than you. Secondly, trust in a day of coordinator like Tiffany to execute on your vision. She's top notch and will be a valuable asset in your planning process. I hired her as my day of coordinator. I was a little anxious, but after I spoke with her on the phone and especially after I met her before my wedding for the 2 hour pre-wedding meeting, I could tell that she had plenty of experience in event planning and coordination. Not only does she have experience in wedding planning, but she has extensive experience planning corporate events and conferences, which as you know, could range from hundreds to thousands of attendees. My thought was, if this girl can plan corporate events that are large scale, she will definitely be able to coordinate my smaller scale event. She also asked the right questions before the wedding, which put my concerns at ease, since she is very sharp and it became clear to me, that event planning plays a very familiar story in her head, a story she knows word for word. Thirdly, stick to your budget. If you need to roll up them sleeves and plan your wedding, just do it. But call in some cavalry to take over on the day of your wedding day because youll need it. Make sure you go with a pro like Tiffany. Im pretty detailed oriented. So is she. I thought I had every detail planned, all she has to do is follow the schedule. You know what, she was able to catch holes in my schedule and my planning. She worked with me to double check my wedding schedule and everything the whole shebang from pre-wedding day stuff like what time the florist will set up, when will the lighting company get to the venue, advice or a second opinion on wedding décor, suggestions for additional vendors .even ceremony logistics such as where people would stand, the flow of the event, gaps in the vendors schedules and the wedding reception details like when the band would take their breaks so she can play an ipod or something so background music would play, helping with the mic transition from the emcee to other guest speakers, overseeing food service so there wasn't a huge gap between the appetizers and dinner, making sure I ate, making sure the groom and I did our table rounds to thank our guests for coming, making sure at the end of the evening someone could collect my wedding gifts, etc etc. Tiffany did a phenomenal job at overseeing every tiny detail the day of the wedding! My wedding went smoothly, the guests had a fantastic time, I now have memories that will last a lifetime, and this was all because I had help taking some wedding responsibilities off my shoulders, I'm so glad I hired Tiffany! Tiffany went over and beyond the call of duty and at a very fair price. Whether you hire her as a day of coordinator or hire her for full service wedding planning (or to plan any type of event), do yourself a favor and put her in your top consideration list. I would hire her again if I could. I will certainly be recommending her to my friends and family. And if you hire her, Im sure you will eventually do the same. Kudos Tiffany for the excellent work! Manya and her team made all my dreams come true for my colorful chai-themed co-ed baby shower. I'm extremely detail-oriented and a perfectionist by heart - so that's a challenge for any event planner :) Manya helped execute my vision to the T! She's very hardworking, kind and accommodating to all needs - big and small. She has good ideas and can be flexible to work with on any budget. I highly recommend AR wedding planners! We debated whether we needed a day-of coordinator, but in the end, due to a couple logistical challenges we decided to go for it. In hindsight I can’t imagine doing it any other way. Rebecca was incredible. Not only did she give me peace of mind by tackling those logistical challenges head-on, she was also extremely proactive. I knew I was in excellent hands from the very beginning. She asked all the right questions and ensured we had all the necessary information at our fingertips at exactly the right moments. She is very professional and handled any issues that came up with ease. Finally, she’s fun! I would highly recommend Matt to anyone. He went above and beyond with coordinating my wedding, and was especially patient with me during my most stressful bridal moments. We even had to go for a Plan B ceremony due to weather, and Matt put everything together so beautifully, it was breath taking. Our wedding ended up being perfect! Thank you for EVERYTHING!

We were extremely happy with Taneva Events. We wanted a simple but elegant wedding in Hawaii and Velina at Taneva Events provided that and more for us. She worked with us on everything from the smallest detail on the dinner napkins to working with vendors on logistical details, setup on the day of the wedding and ensuring our day was perfect. We did not have a clear idea of what we wanted to do for our wedding besides the fact that we wanted to keep it simple and take advantage of the natural beauty of the setting. Velina was really helpful from the start, brainstorming ideas with us, and making suggestions for the decor that we would have never thought of on our won. We did not want traditional flower centerpieces, and Velina was able to accommodate us by creating beautiful pineapple centerpieces, and tied them all together with the runner, candles, handmade napkins, and pedestals that she placed the pineapples on. Everybody complemented the decor and the bridal bouquet that she created from traditional Hawaiian flowers. We could not have had such a beautiful and smooth day without Velina's help. Planning for a wedding is always stressful, but Velina eased a lot of our stress and was always a pleasure to work with.
Mariane is an amazing florist and patiently worked with me on my wedding colors of peach, mint, ivory, and gold to create the perfect themed flower arrangements. She and her team created my awesome bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, and centerpieces! I highly recommend her for gorgeous quality bouquets at an affordable price.
Linda and Leslie were exceptional day-of coordinators for our Labor Day 2016 wedding. Their organization, detail-orientation, and positive attitude were instrumental in the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day itself. With spreadsheets and all, they helped us nail down every little detail for our special day. We had our final pre-wedding meeting with them a few weeks before the event and came out of the meeting with a sense of relief and confidence we would not be worrying about logistics on our wedding day. On the actual day, there were many DIY items that had to be transported and arranged for the wedding, and their setup was exactly how we’d imagined, down to every last detail. They kept in touch with our wedding party and vendors during the day to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. Most importantly, Linda and Leslie were able to handle adversity with poise. After dinner was served at our outdoor wedding, the power went out. Linda and Leslie helped orchestrate the move of our wedding to a different location at the venue with incredible speed and diligence that our guests honestly thought it was part of the reception. Additionally, they helped us get extra time for dancing due to the lost time in moving locations. For people looking for wedding planners, I’d argue the ability to handle problems with efficiency and composure is of critical importance. Beyond their organization and execution, they were a pleasure to work with, and nice enough to share a few beautiful photos the day after the event. We highly recommend L&L to be your day-of wedding coordinators!

Nina's Knacks was my go to for all my bridal shower needs. Nina did all the handwriting, from addressing my envelopes to chalkboards signs the day wouldn't have been complete without her! It really set the tone for the entire shower and turned out absolutely beautiful with all her extra attention to detail. Would definitely recommend Nina for any of your crafting/handwritten needs :)

From the moment I got engaged and started planning my wedding, I knew I was going to need help. I wanted something beautiful and amazing, but I knew with my full time job, a side business, and lack of knowledge in the area, I wasn't going to be able to do it alone. One of my bridesmaids put me in touch with Marie and I knew she was the perfect solution after our first conversation. She helped me plan and organize the event from start to finish and executed all of my ideas down to the smallest details perfectly. My bridal party, and even the guests at the wedding, said they have never attended a more organized event. Most importantly, I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day because I knew that Marie was there to handle any issues that would arise. Marie is extremely organized, proactive, detail oriented, and professional. The women of Pili Lani Events (aka PLE) are truly a dynamic duo! They pulled off our wedding of 100 guests in 3 short months with very DETAILED and EFFICIENT planning. And to make things even more complicated, did I mention that I lived in San Diego and my wedding was to be in the Bay Area? That didn't phase these two lovely ladies at all! They were very easy to communicate with and made collaborating soooo much fun! They were really in-tune to the type of bride I was and the type of wedding we envisioned! Since I was in San Diego, they scoped out venues for me and provided full reports with photos, pricing, pros/cons, and food menu options. We were on a tight budget so they used their large network/connections to find photographers, videographers, DJs, florists and makeup artists that were willing to work us. And of course on the big day, they took care of EVERYTHING so all we had to do was show up. Loved it! So far, you might be reading this and thinking, "Great, that's what all wedding planners are supposed to do." Well, here are two specific examples that prove PLE is truly one-of-a-kind: 1) The original makeup artist (for me and my 3 bridesmaids) cancelled on me the night before the wedding day due to illness. I recall getting the call around 10pm and night. For a brief moment I freaked out, but that ended quickly! Sherie and Evelyn were immediately on their phones and sending emails to take care of it. Within an hour I had a new makeup artist confirmed and still within my budget! WHEW! 2) The one thing missing from my wedding day was my grandfather. He passed away a few years back and I was naturally saddened that he was not able to walk me down the isle. I recall the photographer taking pictures of me before the ceremony with my mom and sister. He then asked for me to hold my bouquet. My my sister (aka my maid-of-honor) hands it to me (in tears) and points to a small heart-shaped charm with a photo of me and my late grandfather on it! That was when the water works officially started for me! After the photos, Sherie whispers to me "See, now he can be there to walk you down the isle today." I couldn't believe that she remembered and did something so sweet for me! Needless to say I was DEEPLY touched! Sherie and Evelyn truly care about making your wedding day magical! They did it for me (again, with only 3 months planning) so they can definitely do it for you!!! Thanks a million PLE!!!
I worked with Laura on 2 events in 2017- my wedding and hosting a baby shower. To say she is exceptional at event planning is an understatement! She can handle large scale projects with ease and organization. I never felt like I had to remember anything myself- she knew all the details! Additionally, she knew my budget and happily surprised me with many cost-effective options that looked beautiful. What I find Laura really flourishes on is her communication- she is quick, clear, direct and friendly. Her timely replies (via email, text and phone) both before the events and on the day of helped me feel confident in having her as my planner. DJ CLII was a totally awesome DJ. He brought it big time. He played the soundtrack to my favorite day ever. Me and my wife could have danced all night but our friends and family got tired. Calvin brought an MC with him named Kevin who not only was professional but he kept the flow of our reception in order. They handled all of our special requests in stride and made sure that we all had a good time. Kevin was cool as an MC and not overbearing like some wedding DJ's could be. He checked in with us regularly and urged the people who attended our wedding to make requests. As a result the mother of the bride who was on 12 Liters of oxygen at the time requested the "Electric Slide" when she was ready, and she danced for the first time in years. If you want a professional, curteous skilled DJ with mixing skills who can keep a party going Calvin is the man! He made our wedding day even more special he DJ'd the ceremony setting the tone for our sacred moments as well as elevated the reception playing custom music for the bridal party and the songs that we requested ahead of time. Hire this man! You will not be disappointed. I am thinking of what kind of event I can have next just to have an event so that we can have him come out and make our celebration complete. AWESOME DJ!
We hired Kasia for our Baby Shower and the work she did was nothing short of first class. Kasia organized all the food, decorations, give aways, games and worked with us every step of the way to make sure the event was just how we wanted and also properly fit into our budget. She kept us on top of everything that needed to be done. The day of the event Kasia was there 3 hours early coordinating the set up, food, games and everything that needed to be done no task was too small or too big for her. The personal touch she added, well I don't even have the words to say what she meant to us. All of our friends were just so impressed with her, she received quite the round of applause when I was able to thank her. If you are looking for a planner, do yourself and your event a favor by choosing Creations by Kasia. If you want to enjoy your day and have 100% peace of mind that things will be taken care of and go according to plan, she is the person for the job. Dhwipa has helped me plan a few of my events... my husband's 30th, bachelorette party in Vegas, my destination wedding in India, my baby shower in San Francisco, and my nephew's birthdays. She has a succinct eye for detail, she is very personal and every step of the event she is there for you. She has helped me secure venues and will even negotiate rates and ensure the events run smoothly. In fact, during my babyshower, our venue fell through with only 2 weeks to go, and she re-did the research and found us a great location within a couple of days. She helped with planning and putting together the decor, finding caterers, bakers, bar crew, etc - she is the full package with great contacts! Alejandra - helped me host a group of 12 for a bridal shower with about 2 weeks of prep, and was an absolute gem. She was completely flexible on the menu with dietary restrictions and even made adjustments last minute to accommodate us. Her team of 3 displayed excellent service and manners, arrived early, and even decorated a little. I was also impressed that she reached out to me directly just to be sure all the details were set ahead of time and to introduce herself. On the day of the event, her team was also very gracious is letting me enter the kitchen multiple times when I needed to grab items. My only change would have been another option for the main course (which was beef), since some people find the filet cut too tender. But other than that, we had an amazing experience!
Donna did an amazing job for my surprise bridal shower! The theme was "Love From Heaven" and I definetly was blown off my feet. Donna had made balloon clouds with cotton between them floating from the ceiling, as it was a surprise, I didn't get to thank her personally, but I heard she was very pleasant and got the job done fast! As she was apart of my once and a life time event, I will never forget how she made me feel... Cloud 9
