Shiva kumar G. says, "I had a great experience working with Apex Plumbing, specifically with Nick and his assistant Shawn. We had a leak in the main pipe running from the water meter to the house — a pretty important line — and Nick handled it with total professionalism. He took the time to inspect the issue thoroughly, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood what needed to be done before starting the work. Nick wasn’t just knowledgeable — he was also super friendly, on time, and very easy to communicate with. He never tried to upsell or push any unnecessary fixes. In fact, he offered a solid, long-term solution instead of taking shortcuts, which I really appreciated. You can tell he takes pride in doing the job right. Shawn was also great — helpful and hands-on throughout the process. The pricing was very fair for the quality of work they delivered, and I felt confident that the job was done properly and won’t cause problems down the line. It’s hard to find people who are both skilled and honest these days, but Nick and the Apex Plumbing team definitely fit the bill. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done the right way."See more

Arthur C. says, "They are very responsive by phone, just call them directly. They don't seem to see initial project details you send through thumbtack, and ask questions that you've already provided, so just call them. It's unfortunate that it doesn't work through thumbtack, but once you're on the phone they're very nice. The plumber who came to help was very prompt and very kind. Unfortunately, our water heater is a tankless Rinnai and they require some licensed technician to call them to troubleshoot, and wouldn't talk to me directly (homeowner), which is why I needed Tidy Plumbing. The plumber installed the new parts to repair, but the water heater was still not working. He was hesitant to call Rinnai customer support to try to figure it out, and seemed like he was going to leave, but I told him this is what I needed him to do and what I'm paying for, so he did. He was happy that the customer supported answered quickly and walked him through the process of troubleshooting. The hesitancy is weird, but I get it. The plumber can't do anything without customer support, and customer support is something that takes awhile. But this is why I hired them, so I don't get why he didn't want to do it. Anyway, things seemed to work but then I saw another issue, where our recirculation pump wasn't turning on now that the new PC board was installed. I looked online and at the manual and it seemed like a few final steps needed to be done that were not after installing the new board. Tidy was fast at getting the plumber to come out to finish the job, so I was very happy about that. Again, he wasn't excited about calling customer support, and they walked him through the process. He did come to me saying that he tried everything they told him, and it still wasn't working so he didn't want to come back and work on it. It was kind of my problem at that point. He was very nice, but wasn't eager to help. Because he was nice, I was able to reason it out that we hired them to finish the job, so he should finish the job. He told me to call him back in a couple of days to try to fix it and that's it. So we still don't have a working solution, but at least he was nice. I chalk this up as a Rinnai issue of not telling us exactly how to get the water heater reset after replacing the PC board, and removing a star because Tidy Plumbing couldn't do anything about it. They aren't cheap, so I thought it would be worth it to not go through trouble and relying on them in finding a solution. But it's back on me now."See more
