- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first speak via phone and plan to have an in person initial meeting. This very first initial in person meeting/fitness assessment is at a discounted price and costs $45. After this phone call and once we scheduled an initial meeting, I email you some forms to fill out, which you'd have to print out, fill out, and bring along with you to our very initial in person meeting. (You can also email them to me prior to our meeting) If you forget to bring them with you, then we will fill them out during our initial meeting. During this initial meeting we discuss your fitness goals and what you are wanting to achieve and if you have a certain deadline in mind to achieve these goals. If this is for a special occasion like a wedding that is coming up, any other event or if it is just to get fitter, stronger, leaner. I review your responses on filled out forms that were emailed to you prior to this meeting. I perform a fitness assessment and you have a first short workout. We discuss schedule of a weekly session or sessions. We go ahead and schedule our first official session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always educate myself, research, attend conventions, and such because I really enjoy learning! I took many great classes on nutrition, functional movement, medicine ball training, and weight loss. I am a NASM certified personal trainer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It started with my own background in dance and fitness. I helped a few of my family members and friends to get in better shape and it made me feel good to see them achieve their fitness goals. There I knew that I was doing what I really enjoy! :)
