Ivan Linscott says, "Our shower in the master bath started to leak about two years ago. We unfortunately ignored it until water started dripping into the dining room below the master bath and gnawed a nasty hole in the ceiling. We stopped using the shower then. We tried to find a contractor to fix it. There is an abundance of them around, but nobody could recommend someone reliable and unexploitive. We had no luck until our daughter recommended using ThumbTack. Of the choices listed on the website we picked three for estimates. One in particular, Michael of Major League Plumbing was very responsive, knowledgeable, available and able to close up afterwards, and impressed us as honest and competent. We chose him. He spent two days repairing the leak - a cracked wastewater pipe, and much more - additional failed pipe connections (importantly, our wastewater pipe was Sparten brand ABS, since classified defective by California), shower valve and controls and copper pipes. He needed access to the pipes from the dining room ceiling cutting a two by four-foot hole in the ceiling. Replacing the shower valve required access through the bathroom tiled wall. Michael did a beautiful job in repair and restoration, closing the holes in the bathroom wall and dining room ceiling, and retiling. The cost for all the work was reasonable and fair. We have now used the shower in the master bath for the first time in two years and it really feels great. Thank you Michael and Major League Plumbing."See more

We had a kitchen sink clog and needed urgent repair. Andrew responded quickly, asked a few questions about the problem, provided a quote and we were able to setup a time for the next day. He was very professional and respectful of the house and got the job done! We also asked him to look into another issue and fortunately he had the replacement part that was needed.
