Kathleen has made a tremendous difference in our son's Spanish skills. He's had a difficult teacher in school this year and Kathleen has helped to build this knowledge, understanding and confidence with both written and verbal work. Our son has said that Kathleen has been a tremendous help to him. She is reliable and I've felt she genuinely wants her students to succeed.

I'm a scientist working at UC-Berkeley. I've been taking a personal class with Toni since February 2013. It is working quite well. Toni is a grat ESL teacher. She adjusts her teaching style based on my interest and encourages me to speak as much as possible during class. She often sends me internet articles that will interest me. I highly recommend Toni! Tim was a great teacher for me! He was easy to talk to,understood my questions, and helped me improve my weak points. After working with him for a few months, I was able to understand a lot of the material provided in the SAT test and improve a lot on my practice test. Overall, Tim is a great teacher for learning how to improve your English , especially to prepare for SAT test.

Chris is a very dedicated teacher. I can tell she loves and enjoys teaching since the first day I met her. It is amazing that she's able to explain me some things using examples in Spanish (my natal language) in order for me to understand clearly the grammatical base of it. I really recommend Chris as an ESL teacher.

Tina taught me TOEFL, particularly on tips to get high scores on the speaking and listening parts. I learned a lot from her. The skills she gave me were really useful. Tina is really passionate about teaching and cares about her students. she is capable of giving me broad and comprehensive experiences on learning because she is interested in languages and has experiences teaching in different countries. I am indeed happy to have her as a teacher who helped me succeed on my TOEFL exams.

Clint helped both of our children with their math courses from grade school through high school. Clint is very patient, caring, and able to identify each students learning style. He is flexible, professional, and effective. Clint is familiar with each school's teachers and requirements. Both of my children performed better on exams and were better prepared for the next course level because of his tutoring.

Excellent! Gifted Geek has full command of the English language. I am a university student and used ESL and Editing services at Gifted Geek. First, I used the service of editing for a 3000 word thesis. I focused the thesis on children's advocacy in shelters. Gifted Geek, charged the best price on the market. There are three packages to choose from which are all the best prices. I decided to get the most out of the service because I wanted the job done with an extra set of eyes on everything including proofreading, copyediting, and content editing. I got exceptional results. My final result is an "A" on the thesis. To better my English, I decided to take ESL on line with Gifted Geek. I am excited to move to the next stage in life. I recommend Gifted Geek, they can get the job done!

Audrey is excelent teacher, she helped me to lose my respect to speak English. She let me speak and then corrected my mistakes and explained why I did them. She wrote these sentences with corrected mistakes and I can look at it anywhen. I could choose the topic and l learned to use English in common life. It helped me in my job very much.

About

I offer personalized tutoring services for students in need of academic remediation. I will travel to you to provide targeted lessons in the areas of need and will collaborate with your student to create a learning plan that will assist him or her in understanding his learning process to build a foundation for lasting academic success. I have nearly ten years of public classroom experience teaching children with severe emotional disturbances, learning processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, and ADHD. I am committed to helping children reach their full academic potential across content areas, particularly in the areas of foundational literacy, writing, and mathematics (grades K-6, as well as college level statistics) so that they have fully realized academic lives. I have taught the four core subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Science) to 3rd-5th graders for the last 8 years; however, due to the varying instructional levels of my students, I have experience with K-8 curriculum and I know how to modify and scaffold assignments to accommodate learning differences. I graduated from San Francisco State University with a dual degree in History and Psychology with a 3.76 GPA. I was the recipient of the All University Academic Excellence Award and the History Department Academic Honors award. I completed an Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Disabilities teaching credential at SFSU with a 3.92 GPA. In addition, I have used my teaching experience to coach and guide new teachers who want to refine their practice. I have extensive experience in bringing research-based mental health and behavioral approaches to students to assist children whose learning is suffering due to trauma and mental-health difficulties. In addition to teaching elementary age students, I have also tutored college students in the areas of research/writing skills, organizational and study skills, research statistics, and psychological physiology. I offer discounted rates and priority scheduling for families who demonstrate financial need (i.e. your child qualifies for a free school lunch program or receives Social Security benefits)
