I've been a client at Joe Grasso Elite Training for a year now and I feel better than ever! I always feel motivated, and his staff is truly invested in catering my workouts to reaching my personal goals. Joe's approach to training is extremely effective regardless of your current level or history of fitness. I rowed for two years in college, and worked out, on my own, subsequently for a number of years in my early/mid 20's. Life caught up with me over the next few years. I had put on 30-40 lbs in all the wrong places. I was given my first 10 sessions as a gift for Christmas. I wasn't sure if personal training was 'for me'. Over the first 6 months of training, twice a week, (which is the minimum recommended) I lost 25 pounds of fat, gained 10 pounds of muscle, and i'm down 3.5 inches on my waist/hips (read jean size). My cholesterol is down over 30 points and I feel much better overall. A year ago I was drinking energy drinks (5-hour energy and RedBull) daily. Since starting training, and following Joe's nutrition guidance, I haven't needed any. I would recommend Joe Grasso Elite Training to anyone who is serious about getting into shape and improving their overall health!
Sandra Castorena was my personal trainer last year. She helped me to reach my personal goals. I really felt comfortable with all of her suggestions and input. I would highly recommend Sandra as a great addition to your staff. I would move to Evolution Fitness if she is on your staff.
Michael provided a clear understanding for CPR and First aid training. He provided instruction per topic with examples and hands on experience references which allowed you to connect to each topic with in real life scenarios. I will recommend Michael to others. I plan to keep my training up to date with Michael's training courses in the future.
So what should I expect during a fitness session? Expect the session to be intense and focused with precision to the goals of the client. Expect an overall balanced session incorporating functional, dynamic, power, and flexibility exercises that will allow the individual to achieve the best results. Be open to random and situational exercises that are thrown at you too. The trainer always closes down the session with flexibility stretches for the individual to be prepared for the next session. How long are the sessions? Training is usually an hour long. But in some cases, if the client and trainer are in the zone, we might go over an hour! Only if there is an open time slot to do so. Will I reach my goal? You will reach your goal if you want to reach your goal. Yes, the trainer is here for guidance, but you must meet the trainer half way. Having the right discipline, attitude, determination, and effort will always allow you to be in a position to succeed. Why do I train? I train because I know the possibilities of the physical body. With the right focus, anyone can transform. What's your vision? My vision is to teach and train individuals to see their full potential.
