We hired Decor Builders (contractor) after posting a backyard covered-patio project on an on-line bid solicitation site. Our primary contact was Guy Kramarski, one of the Decor Builders owners. Guy is always pleasant, has a smile on his face, and wants to please, and is flexible.
The project turned out to be longer, more difficult, and more costly than expected. Some of the causes for these issues were out of the contractor's control like Covid and the City of San Jose's available staffing to review and permit the plans.
Other issues arose because the contractor typically wants to work with complete plans (e.g. down to specifics such as, location of new electrical outlets, etc). We had hired an architect and structural engineer for the planning process, but their plans did not have sufficient detail which required more interactions with them and further delays.
The contractor hired a subcontractor (Jose & company) to complete much of the work. They did an excellent job. They also preferred to have more complete plans and would have preferred the details to be there from the beginning, as well.
The job is complete. The finished product exceeds our expectations and the quality of the work is superb. Comments from those who have seen it are: "beautiful; high-end; quality and top notch."

Did a first floor reno that also included a new kitchen. This also included new flooring, new backsplash, new paint, new walls, new electrical, new hvac (condenser, duct work, heat pump, air handler, and multi-zone). Fast and quick. Good quality builds and workmanship.

We had our garage remodeled by Decor. Caivon, the project manager, was very responsive and professional throughout the process. Their designer helped us rethink our original plan and we ended up with a more functional garage. Overall very happy with the work.

Décor Builders helped us to build a 659 sq ft addition to our existing home. Décor Builders provided us a full service of this project including architect design, construction, interior decoration, and front yard landscaping. We started interviewing contractors for this addition project in March 2021. We quickly selected Décor for this project after a few rounds of interview. Among all contractors we interviewed, Décor was the only one on time for all appointments and timely responding to our requests, which won our confidence. We spent two months in completing the design phase of this addition project with roughly eight rounds of drawing revisions. The designer from Décor Builders patiently provided valuable solutions to all our requests and modified the drawing accordingly. We submitted our design to the city in May 2021 and got approval in November 2021. Décor Builders immediately started constructing the addition and was able to complete the majority of the project in early April 2022. It took Décor Builders only four months to complete such a complicated projects under COVID and the supply shortage. All my friends and neighbors can not believe such a short project duration and think that we tell a lie. In fact, Décor builders can wisely plan the project step-by-step and allocate labors and materials in advance, resulting in this amazingly short project duration. We are extremely happy about its schedule management. During the construction, we also expanded the scope of the project constantly. Décor Builders dealt with the new tasks confidently. Décor could find the sub-contractor timely among its massive supplier network, inserted the new tasks to the existing plan, secured material supply, and completed them as scheduled. We stayed in the home throughout the addition project. Décor Builders thought on our behalf and minimized the impact of the construction on our daily life. Décor usually weekly updated us on the project progress and the plan for the coming week. When the power or the water was shortly cut off due to the project, we were always notified in advance and got prepared. Like all complicated projects, we also encountered a few hiccups. Décor Builders was always on top of these issues and provided its evaluation and solutions to the problem. We usually accepted its solution since we also agreed that the solution was the best choice under the circumstance. We are very satisfied with its service and highly recommend Décor to be considered for your next project.

Had a great experience working with Tal and team on our recent major remodel. We’re really happy with the results. They opened out our downstairs living space with new structural beams and added a big 24’ bifold door across the back of the house. We went for a minimal modern finish with smooth walls and a sleek kitchen. I had a vision, but Tal was a great help with style choices and details.
I’m a keen DIY-er. This is the first time I’ve outsourced any house related improvements. I was apprehensive to get anyone in, but I’m really glad we chose Decor builders. Tall put me at ease from day 1, understanding my want to be involved in all the details. He took my vision and with a very talented team, made it a better reality than I could imagine.
There were some challenges along the way. (Delays due to the city, and appliance and window delivery) but the team adapted and dealt with them all. The team worked really hard throughout the ~3 month project. We lived in the property for the duration and they were always courteous and tidy. We have already recommended them without hesitation.
