Introduction: Hello, I am Erica. I am a home baker trying to make it big. I have been baking since I was about 10, but recently fell in love with the art of creating flavors and combinations that nobody thinks about. I started my home business, Duckyyys Delights, after I was laid off after giving birth to my sweet daughter when Covid-19 hit. I create items such as gourmet "stuffed" cupcakes, basic cupcakes, cakes, cheesecakes and pies. I like to bring flavors to life with my baking. Please send me a message if you are interested in having your dream baked goods come to life. If you place an order, I do charge a 20% cancelation fee. Cancelation fees are charged if you cancel the week of your event. **25% or higher Non-Refundable Deposit is due at time of confirmation** **40% Non-Refundable Deposit is due at time of confirmation for Wedding Cake/Grooms Cake Orders** **50% Non-Refundable Deposit on Rush Orders** -Rush Order Fee $25+ (non-negotiable/ non-refundable) -Rush Order fees apply to jobs confirmed within 14 days of date due Delivery fee is based on mileage $1/mile. Smash Cakes are now available to order in 4-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch rounds. **I AM FULLY VACCINATED AND HAVE ALL BOOSTERS**

Ordered Birthday and Anniversary cakes and have been soooo impressed by Erica’s skills. I sent her a few pics for what I was looking for and she really put that into life for real. She even delivered it to our boat! Both the red velvet cake and pineapple cakes were amazing and it was an absolute hit at our party. Everyone was really amazed and the cakes definitely were the highlights of our party. It was a statement piece!

From the beginning of our communication Erica did a great job at getting the details she needed to provide a detailed quote and set expectations for our event. Once I knew this was the right provider our communication in fine tuning the mix of deserts, the quantities, the special delivery was excellent, clear concise and timely. Communication and detail were key given the day of our event I knew I'd have no time! I had a very clear vision of a few things and the rest I just wanted to be fabulous! Erica took my input for my husbands favorite "Costco Chocolate Cake" and she absolutely exceeded all expectations. The main cake was perfection. We worked out delivery with set up and the presentation was amazing. Taste...yumminess was important but other than my husband's personal cake I was focused on a few other things to make sure the presentation and desert counts were just right but...following the party I've had no less than 5 specific requests for contact information. The desert table was just that good! I found a great photographer here on Thumbtack for the same event and am pleased to share some of her photos with permission (Irina Trofimchuk Photography). Take a look at this amazingness. Delivered and set up on this table in a hidden area and then moved in full to our spot of honor. A smashing success. Thank you to Erica and her team in making sure we had the best of everything.

Pricing is based off the following criteria: - Flavor(s) Profile - Frosting(s) - Servings - Delivery - How far in advance the order is placed However, I do offer some discounts on larger orders.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with a new customer is the following: - Figure out what type of dessert(s) you are looking for - What theme do you want the dessert(s) (if any) - What flavor(s) profiles are you looking for - How many servings are you looking for - Where delivery would be to From there, I create a quote and tell you the deposit needed to book the order. Once deposit is received, I change the status of order to "Job Confirmed"
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No professional training. I have learned the basics through family and took it to a whole new level on my own..
