- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Avoid gimmicks and wedding officiants that do more than just that. If your wedding officiant is also a DJ or florist there is a good chance that their focus will not be on your ceremony. It may seem like a good value but in the end you don't want someone marrying you who is spread that thin. When planning your big day you put so much effort into the flowers, your attire, your food, and decorations, make sure you give as much thought into the one person that is going to make sure you shine. When you meet with prospective wedding officiants, pay attention to the amount of questions they ask you. If a minister spends more time trying to sell themselves than getting to know you, it's a warning sign. There is going to be a problem if a minister can't check their ego at the door. In other words, this day is not about them, it's about you!
