What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
An initial ergonomic evaluation is 60-90 minutes depending on scope of work, extent of symptoms, etc. Subsequent evaluations (follow-ups) range from 30-60 minutes. You are only charged for actual time spent on your evaluation.
My hourly rate for evaluations, researching, and reporting is $275 plus 1/2 time for travel.
I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments per month for individuals with financial difficulties. Please contact me for details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take pride in my holistic approach to ergonomics which is the foundation of ergonomics: Human first. First we establish your neutral baseline, then we figure out how the world/your workspace is failing you.
I perform a detailed intake to make sure I am addressing your specific concerns, then I take stock and measurements of you and your workstation. After that we dive into education and work together to create an ergonomic plan that works for you. I will never force you to do anything, and I will never judge you.
I only recommend products I have successfully tested, and I am also quite resourceful with workstation “hacks” for the budget-conscious. Like I said, it’s about the entire human that is you.
