I recently hired Marcus as a private chef for a small celebration and everyone was so pleased with the spread! I just gave him my vision, and my oh my, he delivered surpassed my expectations! He is kind, professional, and has keen attention to detail— AND flavor. He has been my go-to private chef and caterer for every event I’ve hosted in the past 2 years. I first met him at a close friend’s wedding in 2023 that he catered for, and the meal was the best I’ve ever eaten at any wedding, including my own! He is creative, brilliant and can cook any cuisine you could think of! (Though, his specialties are Soul/Comfort/Caribbean/Spanish food—which are my favorite too!) With Marcus, you won’t just eat and enjoy your meal, you’ll experience it too. This event makes it 12th time I’ve hired him, and already booked my 13th and 14th for the upcoming holidays! Can’t wait!!

Marcus and Soul Kitchen absolutely stole the show with his creative cooking, beautiful presentation, and flavors that led to us to trying to hire him every weekend! Absolutely incredible flavor, quality, and some of the best food we have every had. He cooked for about 11 people.
