Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have experience in many different facets of the singing world, from auditions, performing on stage, choral work, and recording, and can help you address your own goals because of that experience. My training is also extensive and diverse, from my education in school, to workshops and seminars I've attended, as well as my study from various teachers myself. I also have a unique ability to work at getting to the root of the problem when singing. Singing is very psychological, and often the root of the vocal issue isn't always, or at least exclusively, technical. I am good at helping students address concerns with stage fright, poor self-esteem, negative thinking, and other personal issues that inhibit free singing. I also have the technical background to help specifically target how to make things work for the voice. I am energetic, I love working with people, I set high and achievable standards, and am simply fun to work with. I believe singing is the most personal way a person can share music. It is giving a part of who you are. I love connecting with my students as they trust me to help them share a personal, and often vulnerable, part of themselves with others.

Before I started voice lessons with Lindsey I was in a very frustrating place vocally. I felt as if my throat was clogged with tar, my range was extremely limited, and hearing my own voice made me feel sad and hopeless. Though I had studied vocal techniques in the past, I had gotten away from singing for a few years and, upon returning to it, had fallen into bad habits without even realizing it. My vibrato was out of control, which I chalked up to aging vocal cords, and I would go hoarse if I sang for longer than an hour, which made it difficult to sing in my choir. Lindsey was very kind, knowledgeable, and focused as she considered my posture, my breathing, and the techniques (or lack thereof) that produced the results I found so distressing. She provided a safe and fun place for me to discover my voice all over again. I was often amazed at the unique ideas she would come up with on the spot to help me. With Lindsey's astute guidance, I not only regained my ability to sing comfortably, but my range is wider than ever, and my tone is pleasing and sure. I have found my love of singing again, and now I am thrilled with the sounds I hear coming from my mouth. No more tar! Thank you, Lindsey. You gave me more than I could have hoped for!

Lindsey Partridge is a competent voice teacher. She was professional in her business. She had great training and experience to help me reach some of my singing goals in the two years I studied with her. Her expertise helped me to be able to successfully audition for the world renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I recommend Lindsey for great voice lessons.

Lindsey has been an invited voice coach in my classroom for many years. She works well with students of all ages and abilities. As a trained educator AND performer, my students find her lessons engaging and very articulate. She maintains a high expectation and students do all they can to meet that expectation. Lindsey is encouraging and celebrates even the little successes--an important attribute for any voice teacher. Peter Steenblik University of North Texas
