I have been using Noelle for spanish lessons twice a week. I was a complete beginner. Noelle is extremely patient and a pleasure to deal with. She is very encouraging and has an extremely pleasant manner about her. She is very professional and it is readily apparent that she takes great pride in her work and cares very much that you learn the proper way. I would highly recommend her! Ron S

I chose private lessons versus some language school because I was hoping it will get me to learn faster and what I really need. And I was right. And the next good choice I made I chose Pablo to be my language teacher! I knew zero Spanish, but after the first lesson I already knew how to read, how to pronounce, basic expressions and numbers! After couple of classes I started creating sentences and was able to understand a little bit. What I like the most, he adjusts all the material based on my needs. There is no useless learning of words you might never ever use in real life. He teaches what you need and after couple of months I'm already able to understand and have a basic conversation with my clients. He is also flexible with time and location, which made it very convenient for me. But it's not only that Pablo is a good teacher he also has a great, interesting personality. He is a great motivator as well and always finds smth positive to say, to encourage, to make me believe I'm doing great! In my opinion it is very important when you are trying to learn smth new. He gets a feeling on how much he can push you and sometimes I get surprised myself of what I can say in Spanish already! So to sum everything, if you want to learn language in a friendly environment, your learning material to be adjusted to your personal needs and have a competent teacher who sees a potential in you, you will definitely not go wrong with Pablo.

Awesome teacher😀. We started out with lessons for my small children Elsa made learning so much fun for them with games and post-it's throughout the house. My children learned quickly and we fluent before they took Spanish in school. So impressed with Elsa I later hired Elsa to teach my husband and I Spanish. Elsa's approach helped us also learn quickly. We love her she is kind, patient and so much fun. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. Wally P

My 10 year old didn't want to go to school anymore! He studies spanish at LEALA and it was really hard for him and also challenging, until he started taking classes with Hilda Rodino!!!! She not only helped him with his tests ( which he did amazing) but also gave him confidence and made spanish fun for him to study. Lucas started enjoying going to his spanish classes and he even improve his relationship with his classmates and teacher!!!! I can't say enough of how grateful i am for having Hilda!!! Lucas loves her and he went twice as week for an hour and in only 2 weeks we saw the change at school and also helped me at home as he stopped complaining about his spanish class. Thank you Hilda!!!!

About

Hi, my name is Sasha Leal. I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in the business mountain city of Monterrey, Mexico. I have been outstanding in public speaking and creative writing since I was little. I studied at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. My poems have been featured in the Architecture faculty's 60th anniversary edition (UANL) and also exhibited at art events, and currently, I still write for pleasure. I have experience teaching ESL, Spanish, and K-12 subjects. (I can provide my resume and references). Something really special about my teaching is that I like to keep every lesson energetic. I like to keep it fast-paced by targeting the interests of the students. Let's say, if you like cooking, I know I will get your attention by talking about ingredients and recipes rather than talking about cars or celebrities. I like to customize my tutoring based on what is needed (age, personality, and number of students is taken into account), so that people grow their passion for Spanish and stay motivated to work hard. Keep in mind: If you have a good sense of humor, expect smiling and laughing while you learn. You will overcome the pain of learning something for the first time and be capable of knocking the fear of failure out of your mind. I am very expressive; I use a lot of gestures and body language in general, helping students connect with the meaning of concepts and Latin culture, instead of depending on word-for-word translations. Students generally feel invited to communicate freely. I love what I do, and I know you will love learning Spanish, too. I can offer the first hour lesson as a courtesy. I would like to know about your study goals and expectations and see if we can work out a schedule, or see if sporadic study support is what you are looking for. I am flexible; I work with all ages, one-on-one, or with groups. I am very excited to know you; let's start working! Descubre que puedes lograrlo, - Sasha Material information: I follow "Ultimate Spanish" by Living Language (beginner to intermediate level) study plan of 40 lessons. I also own a copy of "Easy Spanish" by McGrawHill. I will work with your preferred study plan or your current material.

I have experience teaching in three continents and have traveled to Central and South America and Mexico. I have training in Lindamood-Bell, functional, notational, proficiency, direct, inductive (immersion, natural and discovery/self-actualization) methods as well as TPR and child/adolescent behavior and humanistic psychology. I am certified in VA (where Common Core really started in the 80s) to teach Spanish K-12. I enjoy writing and am presently enrolled in a course with Troon Harrison and the Children's Literary Institute in CT to write for children and young adults. I have sold photographs to Highlights Magazine related to travel to Hispanic countries and natural science/anthropology. I have taught graduate students at business schools, numerous Big Eight companies, university students and all levels of Spanish and English for K -12. I am a bilingual tutor with full "native fluency" in speaking, reading and writing Spanish. I am very good at adjusting the level of instruction to the needs and capabilities of individual clients. I have lots of experience helping people learn a second language at a level that does them "practical good", not just enables them to pass tests. The idea is to get you to be able to understand what is being said when the language is spoken, understand the information being conveyed, and reply in the same language if you so choose. I have been very successful in doing this.
