I've just had my first cooking lesson with Ray Sutton. To be clear this is pretty much my first cooking lesson period, I am the sort of person who makes water explode. But Ray was very patient with me and guided me along in learning a meal. He was very helpful in demonstrating everything before he had me do it. And at the end we got to sit and enjoy the full lunch we made together. He was very good at making me feel like I was capable and would continue to improve, even as he kept control of his kitchen. And from being someone who makes water explode, I'm pretty impressed with the initial results.

We hired Melissa to cook for us for ongoing restrictive diet-friendly meals. We had three criteria and passed these with flying colours. 1. She is incredibly organized from menu planning to day of cooking to final delivery and storage of food. This is so critical for ongoing bulk meal preparation. 2. She has such a calm, friendly, and sociable demeanor. For someone to be coming to your home on a regular basis, we've learned that personalities meshing are so important. 3. And the above are the least of the compliments. Her food is amazing! As NY foodies, my husband and I are very particular about our food. Melissa has made no salt/no oil/no carb/no sugar taste better and brighter than any 5 star NY restaurant. We look forward to continuing with Melissa as our chef.
