Elite tutoring was very responsive to my request for a Physics tutor and I got an immediate reply from Eric. He was very helpful and followed up and got a tutor for my son. The tutor was prompt and he was well prepared and helped my son. Although I would have preferred someone with Physics tutoring experience, my overall experience working with Elite tutoring was good.

Dr. Oh is an outstanding tutor and person who is dedicated to helping others and will go the distance for them. Dr. Oh agreed to tutor our 11th grader for two evenings before his exam, and although it took Dr. Oh 1.5 hours to get there the first evening, Dr. Oh made the long trek to help him the second evening as well, true to his word and to ensure that he fully understood the materials. We greatly appreciate Dr. Oh's dedication, passion and integrity in preparing our 11th grader for his precalculus exam, and helping him understand the concepts behind the equations!! Thank you, Dr. Oh!!!! You are truly a gem!!

Yevgeny tutored my son for about 6 month to prepare him for SAT Subject test Math 2 and the Math portion of SAT. My son liked his style of teaching - giving small hints to guide him to find the right answer. In addition Yevgeny was able to explain complicated mathematical concepts in simple words. I strongly recommend Yevgeny as Math tutor.

Dan is a great math tutor. He is patient and knowledgeable. He leads you to the solution but does not tell you the solution. He makes you figure it out by encouraging your own abilities to problem solve. I received tutoring for the CSET Math test and I was very impressed with Dan.

Adam was my TA in freshman physics at Purdue. In short, there's no way I would have done as well as I did without his help. He provided a great mix of making sure I could do the assignment while also actually understanding the material better so I wasn't so lost on tests.

My name is Cameron Anetsky. What sets me aside from other tutors is that my priority is the student, their family, and their needs. I tailor my tutoring to each and every student. My teaching has a basis in the Saxon Method of teaching, but it is more than that. I teach not only the subject matter, but the tips, note taking, organization, and study skills that make each student uniquely successful. I am well versed in teaching most subjects, with special emphasis on Reading and Writing, Social Studies, Foreign Language, Math, and Science. I effectively teach skills that can be used later in their academic and professional careers: reading for retention, note taking, analytical skills, scientific analysis, nursing and patient care, and writing.

        About

Having been fascinated with the inner workings of programs from a young age, I take joy in constructing my own within several platforms. I would be more than happy to teach those with the same passion for computer science. Languages I have worked on include Java, C++, Ruby and HTML. In regard to teaching these subjects, I have experience in the past teaching elementary school kids how to program their own robots. Your school assignments will seem just as easy to you in no time! I can also offer tutoring for Japanese, having been raised in a Japanese household and attended the San Francisco Japanese Language Class for over 10 years. I was also a teacher aide for AP Japanese at my local high school, so I know firsthand what challenges students' face when learning this particular language. With these experiences, I can teach Japanese like no other tutor can. I look forward to further correspondence!

        About

Hello, I am a current university student at University of the Pacific. I am working towards a biological sciences major as part of the predental program. Right now, I am taking a semestral leave in order to study for certification exams and am looking to take this opportunity to help any student or individual who may need assistance in biology, chemistry, physics, math, English, and SAT or otherwise general study skills. My academic focus is very much life science-oriented, and I am most confident in teaching in those areas up to introductory college levels. In explaining the numerical details of my academic background, I have graduated from high school with a GPA of 3.75 and SAT scores of R: 690, W: 750, and M: 800. I have taken the following AP courses: Computer Science AB, Calculus BC, Physics C, Japanese, biology, U.S. History, and statistics, receiving a score of five in all but statistics (4). At the university, I am currently a junior with a GPA of 3.32. I have tutored at various levels, from middle school students to my university peers, at different environments. I have tutored in a classroom environment, working to help the students in conjunction with a lecturer. I have also tutored my university peers after recommendation from my professor, allowing me to build and lecture my own curriculum in a weekly session. Since I am simply taking time off from the university to study at my pace for an exam, I am extremely flexible in schedule and available every day. I look forward to working with you. Thank you.
