Jonathan is completely present, completely encouraging, and pushes me to do my best. He doesn't have that over-the-top annoying trainer vibe, either; he's just solid and awesome. His gym is great: the equipment is clean and in perfect condition, and the people that show up are all serious about improving their health and fitness and hitting their goals. Hire this guy.

Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. He is incredibly motivating and inspiring - and he was so keen to help me as an individual and find out what would work best for me. I didn't like 'traditional' exercise, like endless runs or boring gym machines - but Jake could find ways to mix it up, keep it fresh and interesting, and I even managed to have fun along the way! I would definitely recommend Jake as a personal trainer to help you achieve your individual health and fitness goals.

I was introduced to Coach Hunter when my son was in the 8th grade. I was told that he was one of the best 1-on-1 coaches in the San Gabriel Valley. When we met Coach Hunter, my son had been a long time offensive lineman who had suddenly grew in height and lost a considerable amount of weight. As a result, my son was no going to be considered for the offensive line in high school. I asked Coach Hunter if he could convert my son into a wide receiver since he had decent hands and was 5' 11" in the 8th grade. To which he agreed to help Coach Hunter's rigorous workouts, his attention to detail and his customized training had an immediate impact on my son's performance. Within a short period of time, my son was not only competing as a wide receiver, he became a starting wide receiver at his high school. Due to the tremendous amount of success that we experienced so quickly, I promised Coach Eric that he would remain my son's personal trainer throughout high school. This year, my son achieved what only 2% of all high school football players achieve. My son received a full scholarship to play football for a Division 1 school as a wide receiver. For a kid who only has played wide receiver for four years, the odds of achieving such a feat is tremendous. We owe all of it to the work of Coach Hunter. Coach Hunter is a man dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football. He has expert knowledge on both sides of the ball and has been a great mentor to my son, on and off of the field. Not to mention his rates are extremely reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend Coach Hunter for any parent who is looking to have their child compete at the high school and college levels.
Mark is super nice, knowledgable and is a great person to coach you to better health and fitness. He is easy to work with and has been flexible to create workouts that are specific and appropriate for my needs. Our workouts are challenging and fun!
Meghan is a powerhouse - a true professional! She walks her talk by staying fit, healthy and progressive in the best practice methods available. Although I am a certified health and wellness coach, she added depth to what I know. She provided great tasting recipes that were satisfying and easy to prepare. She also was my personal trainer and yoga coach. She pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me understand the true strength of my body. Working with meryl has been a joy! I am by no means an athlete or a health nut. I'd sit forever and live off donuts if i could (I probably have at times). I was waaaay off the fitness wagon when I started with meryl but she has gotten me on track! It's actually fun to work out now (well...as close to fun as it will ever be for a person who loves to lounge as much as I do). I'm on my second leg of training and I have had amazing results in body fat percentage reduction, weight loss and overall fitness in just 2 months. I'm now motivated to keep my fitness goals going and her training has been instrumental in getting me to this place. She's also fantastic at working with people with injuries. Highly recommended!
Gil was an incredibly effective and motivating trainer. With his extensive educational background and understanding of balancing the weights, with diet, and cardio - I find training with Gil to already have significant effects not only on my body but also my overall health. I also appreciate the constant communication even when I'm not around and traveling, making sure to keep me on track and keep my diet in line with the overall goals of my training. he's a great guy and couldn't recommend him more to anyone out there that wants to get into great shape, better shape, or really just kickstart a healthier lifestyle.

When I began my search for a fitness professional I had specific criteria which I'm sure most people do. I wanted someone who could push my limits and accelerate my goals but do so safely and without coming across as pushy or arrogant. I hit the jackpot with Chris! He is extremely personable, knowlegable and results driven. Without sounding odd, I might describe him as an artist creating a sculpture. He keeps the workouts interesting and pushes me while keeping things engaging and fun. He keeps tabs on my overall health, always has a great attitude and articulates our strategy. To this point I have added lean muscle mass and lost 45lbs! I would highly recommend Chris as your personal trainer and I expect you will not be disappointed!

I started my training with Fit to You, Marcos a few months ago. I was nervous and wasn't sure what to expect since I had never "worked out" before nor had I ever stepped foot in a gym. When we first met I felt he listened to exactly what I was looking for in a trainer and what I was looking to accomplish. My experience has been nothing but positive! Marcos has worked his schedule to accommodate me and the time I am available to workout. He is always positive, uplifting, encouraging and patient. My workout with Thu was amazing. She brings alot of energy to her workouts and really prioritize your goals. Each workout I have completed with Thu have left me wanting more. Doing nutritional consultations with Kay Curtis is one of the best things I've ever done. Here's the deal: I was an athlete, and in great shape until I injured my knees in a subway accident. Being unable to run, over the years, I gained weight. There were some other life changes that also contributed to the weight gain. I've always been interested in being healthy and I was taking a lot of vitamins and supplements. I read the ads or heard about the newest supplement on the market that would support some body system or prevent some unhealthy thing from happening. "Prevention" was the buzzword that would hook me. I was "trying" to be healthy. I started seeing Kay Curtis because I had heard other success stories. In my first meeting with her, she had me bring in all of the supplements I'd been taking. She tested me on all them and I found out that I tested poorly on a lot of them. Yikes! She then tested me on the extremely high-quality supplements that she uses from Standard Process. The purpose of testing me on many supplements was to find out what organs needed help (adrenals, heart, etc.) Her philosophy is, in order to lose weight, you need to be healthy. So I got rid of the "bad" supplements and started on the ones Standard Process that Kay recommended. The first thing I noticed was that I was sleeping better. For many years I've had problems getting to sleep. I don't any more. This is a MAJOR win! Secondary to that, I have lost 35 pounds. Those supplements I was taking in an effort to be healthy were actually working against me. There was no logical system to what I was doing, I was just adding things to the mix hoping that they were doing what they were supposed to do. Every sane diet tells you to stop eating bread. I've been addicted to bread my whole life and have tried to stop eating it many times. Bread was one of my favorite foods. I couldn't imagine a meal without it. I actually didn't feel like a meal was complete unless I had at least one piece of bread. Until now. One of Kay's suggestions was to try a low-carb bread. Usually stuff like that is awful but she has found a low-carb bread that actually tastes good and has a good texture (not like other "alternatives" to bread that taste awful and have the texture of crusty old gym socks). The first couple of weeks on the diet Kay recommended were very hard, but I lived through them. She is very helpful, with good suggestions for getting through rough spots and things that a difficult. This is not a deprivation diet. The idea is to have meals be satisfying and healthy. I was never hungry on this diet. Snacks are encouraged - healthy ones. Now, I don't crave sweets all the time. I don't have to have chocolate. (I never thought I'd say that!) That's amazing. I can't believe that when I want a snack, I think about having a cucumber! And I love it. There's a lot of false data, fad diets and junk supplements out there. I'm so glad that I have Kay Curtis to advise me in this complicated and crazy area. I highly recommend Curtis Nutrition - not just to fix what might be ailing you, but to achieve optimal health and wellness. Kay Curtis is there for you, with solutions.
