Cornel is awesome! We asked everyone we knew for a recommendation for nearly 3 years and couldn’t find anyone. Then a friend introduced us to Cornel.
Ironically, he was the last of about 1/2 dozen general contractors we interviewed. In a kind and gracious way, he was able to point out some major flaws in our thinking and plans… and then helped us regroup with a new plan - and we couldn’t be happier.
He literally saved our project before it began - when every other contractor would have just taken our money.
And then he executed… on time and on budget. He was agreeable to minor changes when possible - and direct about when changes could not be accommodated or would cost extra. We always felt like he was open and honest with us… which meant a lot, especially at a time when we were so vulnerable (ie: mid-project).
Finally, one of the sub-contractors we picked totally messed up in a major way. Not only was Cornel understanding, he went to bat for us and found us a new subcontractor that was outstanding.
In the end, Cornel truly made our addition/remodel (added a bedroom, bathroom & closet + remodeled the entire kitchen and pantry) soooo much better than it would have been.

Cornel and his team were knowledgeable and professional. We added square footage and remodeled the house including adding a bathroom and a large spacious kitchen. He had great suggestions and did a fabulous job. We love our home.

Cornel and his team are the best! They have done extensive remodels on three different homes for me. Each one was a little bit different but all of them turned out excellent! I’ve used other contractors but I won’t make that mistake again, from now on I’m only gonna call Cornel.
