My son needed help with Spanish and Algebra. I thought Chemistry might become an issue later on. Eric found him a tutor able to do all 3! Allyssa has been great helping with everything. It was great not having to find separate tutors. Allyssa has been so patient and kind helping my son get back on schedule after his surgery. We love her!

Nando is the best spanish teacher ever. He can teach you in so many different ways ! It is really fun. He instantly adapts to your way of learning. I have had several tutors and i am not saying the others were bad, but Nando is definitely my FAVOURITE ! You could definitely pay him more than he is asking for since the quality you get from his lessons is superior to any other private courses in language schools.

Youlian's lessons are very well organized and planned, and she has an absolutely fantastic ability to explain the nuances and subtleties of day-to-day Mandarin. Every lesson includes listening comprehension, reading comprehension (I'm just using Pinyin for now but she covers Hanzi as well), and conversation practice, and Youlian always provides me with very helpful feedback.

Tim was a great teacher for me! He was easy to talk to,understood my questions, and helped me improve my weak points. After working with him for a few months, I was able to understand a lot of the material provided in the SAT test and improve a lot on my practice test. Overall, Tim is a great teacher for learning how to improve your English , especially to prepare for SAT test.

Christina Moyle: A little over three years ago, Christina swept into our lives like a guardian angel. Neither my wife nor I could any longer give our dog his proper amount of exercise. Our dog, Rascal, loves Christina to death. He yips with his happiest bark when she arrives to take him for his walk. She walks him three days a week for an hour each walk. We grew to like Ms Moyle almost as much as Rascal does. She takes Rascal for a bath every month or so, and he not only enjoys the bath but he also comes home looking like a prize winner at the Westminster Dog Show competition. One could not hope for a better dog walker than Ms Moyle.

Shay was able to draw my son out and kept him trying no mAtter how many. Times he tried to give up. Her patience and skill at dealing with a child with high functioning autism helped him achieve top scores in state testing. She helped imbue him with confidence. I've told her many times she doesn't charge enough. Parents are truly getting a bargain!

I am a graduate student of creative writing in San Francisco State's MFA program. I graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 2010 with a BA in English and american language and literature. After graduation, I spent the 2010-2011 academic year living and teaching in the Marshall Islands through the program, WorldTeach. During this year, I was the sole English language teacher for all K-8 students on Namdrik Atoll (approximately 175 students), responsible for the development and implementation of the English language curriculum. I received my TEFL qualification through WorldTeach. Upon returning to the US in 2011, I studied urban education at Mills College in Oakland, CA and worked as a student teacher in a sixth grade humanities classroom in Oakland. I completed coursework in curriculum development, adolescent development, and teaching English language learners. During this time, I also passed the CBEST and English CSET. I tutor English, literature, writing, reading, history and college application assistance. I charge a sliding scale of $50 to $60 per hour.
