Kelly is an enthusiastic teacher! He is willing to spend over time with my kids and makes them engaged. My kids always look forward for his lessons. He also provides my little four year old daughter and myself free lessons! We like him a lot and highly recommend him!
My 9 year old son started taking piano lessons about 4 months ago for the first time with Michelle. He was a beginner and was hesitant to start lessons not knowing what to expect from them, but he has come to love them! Michelle has been great encouraging him and at times pushing him to do his best when he gets a little lazy. She has been able to recognize his strengths and weaknesses in the short time we have been with her, which I think is a sign of a good teacher. Michelle is professional and tries to be as accommodating as she can with rearranging lesson times when we need it.
9 years ago I stopped taking piano lessons. Recently I decided to start up again. It was a bit intimadating. I was lucky enough to find Dave. He is very professional and yet casual. He communicates theory in a clear, understanable way. He is encouraging and patient. I know that, in time, I'll play with confidence that I never had before. Check him out on UTube at 88davefoster. He truly deserves a 5 star rating!
Both of our kids ( 12 and 10 ) are having a nice time with Lynn while learning their drills. She connects with them individually and helps them learn their drills in a smooth way. Our daughter loves her voice and piano lessons. On the other hand, our son did not want to take piano lessons at all but after a few lessons with Lynn, he decided to stay with it! How great is that! Thank you so much Lynn!!! :-) I am happy and looking forward to seeing more of their progress!
My 12 yr old son has been taking piano lessons from Noemi since the beginning of this year and I am so impressed with how my son has progressed every week! Noemi's level of expertise and standard of teaching would exceed anyone's expectation! I highly recommend her!
I started my adult piano lessons from this spring. The general experience was great so far. Lin Chiao was always on time. I learned a lot in her teaching.
Sakurako was was professional, enthusiastic fun to work with. I am an adult beginner and she made my first lesson enjoyable as well as educational. I highly recommend Sakarako for beginners.
As a mature student and absolute beginner to piano I took my first lessons with some trepidation. I have found Bob to be very enthusiastic, supportive and helpful; and very good at explaining underlying musical theory concepts, not just the mechanics of playing piano.
Amber is the perfect piano teacher. She is always warm and friendly with the kids, gives praise, is patient and plays games to keep them involved. She is in every way a professional teacher, with lovely manners, so an excellent role model, too. I hope we can keep her for years!
We love FAME. Ms. Gloria is a fantastic teacher. She makes piano lessons fun.
Joel is one of the most patient, knowledgeable and understanding piano instructors I have ever had the pleasure to teach me piano lessons. If you are wanting to learn how to play the piano or keyboard Joel is the person to teach you.Especially a new beginner or if you want to refamiliarize yourself with the piano or keyboard. I would of gave Joel 10 stars if it would of allowed me to. Darren
Jerry Pajel (Mr. J) is a passionate violin teacher. I have been taking violin lessons for one year now, and I must say that I learned so much in my first month of lessons. While teaching, he communicates effectively and makes learning the violin easy!
Brandon is a very creative musical artist. My wife and I had a song that we were working on and Brandon offered great suggestions on improving the overall likability. He added a great intro for it with the piano that goes perfectly with the song. He also added other components to the song that brought our song from a nice amateur piece to a professional level. Brandon is very versatile and can work with many different types of music genres. He has the musical experience to transform any piece into a masterpiece. Anyone who invests in Brandon, is investing their time with real talent and skill.
My experience at Lafitte Music Center has been wonderful! The atmosphere is inspiring and supportive, and I'm amazed at how much progress I've made. In just two lessons, I went from knowing nothing about piano to surprising myself by what I could do!
I began playing the piano at the age of five. In 2008, I completed the Music Teachers' Association of California keyboard test and had the Certificate of Merit Advanced-Panel Level. I continued my training with Dr. Gwendolyn Mok at the San Jose State School of Music and Dance, where I received my bachelor's degree of music performance. In 2009, I was one of the Ravel competition winners in San Jose State University. Not only did I have high-quality piano lessons with professional doctors in music, but I also took a copious amount of music classes to explore my music skills. The classes included the following: * Piano Pedagogy * Piano Accompaniment * Recital Preparation and Interpretive * Piano Sight-Reading * Beethoven's Literature * Wind Ensemble I have performed as a soloist and chamber musician in China and the United States, which included performing in concerts, churches, weddings, and school functions. I am bilingual in Cantonese and English and am teaching in the San Jose/Milpitas area. Feel free to ask me for more information about the piano lesson, rate info and available time slots.

I currently attend UC Davis and I am a double major, one of the majors being music. My profile may say I live in Oakland but I repeat. I do not live in Oakland. I live in Davis, CA I am willing to travel but it depends on where to and I do own a keyboard so if the client would like to come to my home, then we can do the lessons there. Anything you want to learn, 98% of the time, I can teach it to you.
I teach jazz piano and its methods and theory. This approach develops reading skills for the lead sheet. Additionally, this will greatly enhance improvisational abilities.
I primarily help students learn or develop their piano or clarinet skills. I have enjoyed playing these instruments for almost 12 years and have been fortunate enough to perform all over the United States. Math has a surprising connection to music. As a student of the agricultural sciences, I look forward to sharing my passion for art and math with you.
I teach how to play on piano and how to read basic notes. I'm not a classical teacher. I teach more how to play nice chords and melody. I'm improving hearing. I teach how to do an improvisation. I'm teaching how to play at churches. I cater to modern music, etc.
