I have been going to various boot camps and personal training sessions with Hi-C Fitness for about six months now. The workouts are a blast, work the whole body and keep my heart rate up. There is a huge range in ability level, age, athleticism, etc that attend each session and everyone is always challenged. Not many things can beat a good workout at the beach!(show more)
EG's Training is very personal and professional, knowledgeable and encouraging, I went in not wanting to waist my money on a trainer, I found he wanted to help me to meet my goals and to exceed my expection of a trainer. Maxwell is the BEST!!! I started boxing with Maxwell last year, and saw results after just four classes! After boxing for a few months, I decided to start personal training with him to get in shape for my wedding. He also helped me design a nutrition program. He is a PHENOMENAL trainer!! He knows EVERYTHING about strength training, weight loss, and even how to strengthen muscles that were weakened after an injury. Not only is he an incredible trainer and nutrition specialist, but he truly cares about his clients. He is available at all hours of the day and even on weekends to answer any questions. From the first meeting with Briana, she understood my goals right away. I wanted to put on some meat, but in a feminine way. It's kind of an unusual task, and I wasn't even sure if it was possible but IT IS! For the first time in my life (and I was an athlete at one point) I have a booty. About 2 years into my training with Briana, I decided I didn't just want to be an Adonis, I also wanted to be strong and have endurance because I'm a performer. She adapted with ease. In fact, thought the three years of my training she had constantly been changing routines, styles, etc depending on what was going on with my body. She is like a sculptor and I went from looking like Screech (saved by the bell) to looking like David (female equivalent.) the switch ups never gave my body an opportunity to get too comfortable. I have basically been sore for 3 years straight. But it's so worth it. I look good, I feel good, and I have endorphins which make me a productive and happy person. That is probably the biggest shift of all. The other thing Briana is great at, which I have to mention, is motivation. Even though Briana has created an environment in which I love working out more than I ever have in my life before, I'm still not "a gym rat." Working out is still a necessary evil. Briana knows that and she has an effective way of inspiring me to get my 3 workouts/week in. I don't hate it and that is a MIRACLE. Basically, I couldn't say enough positive things about her. Add to the list that she's a great human being, honest, fair, hardworking, never looks at her phone ONCE when she's training (and I see trainers doing that all the time... Leading their clients do workouts with some unsafe habits.) literally in three and a half years of training hasn't looked at her phone ONCE, and is constantly poking me here and there to make sure the correct muscles are being activated, constantly correcting me on where my weight is distributed, squeeze at the end, don't let your knee hit the floor. She doesn't mess around. She's also smart as hell. Constantly reading about new techniques, nutrition, etc. and always keeping abreast to everything fitness related. Just call her.
