Chef Jesse is absolutely incredible! She created the most thoughtful and delicious menu for our son’s life ceremony, blending Spanish favorites with Asian flavors that delighted all of our guests. The tortilla española and vegetable spring rolls were crowd favorites, but the flan truly stole the show—every one of our Spanish family agreed it was better than Abuela’s (and that’s saying something!). Creamy, rich, and perfectly set—we’ve never had flan so heavenly. The lavender lemonade was also refreshing and a big hit.
Her menu was extensive and beautifully presented, from chicken croquettes and Serrano ham skewers to sliders, finger sandwiches, fruit cups, and more. Everything tasted amazing.
Beyond the food, Chef Jesse was a joy to work with—she listened carefully to our needs, customized the menu perfectly, and made communication easy. On the day, her team was efficient, gracious, and left the church spotless. Leftovers were packed with such care that our guests could take goodies home.
Chef Jesse’s food and service brought comfort, joy, and elegance to a very meaningful day. We highly recommend her—she’s a true gift!

I was incredibly happy with my experience with A Wayfaring Chef. Jessie curated a specialized menu specific to my event and participants. The food was beyond amazing-both is taste and presentation. She consulted with me on who was coming, what I was looking for and then delivered beyond what I could have hoped for. Everyone was amazed with the food and it made my event even more special. In addition, she was always responsive if I had a question or wanted to check in. On the day of the event she was right on time and set everything up perfectly. I know people have a lot of choices, but in my opinion you need to look no further. 5 stars!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our menus are customized to match your event and theme. We will give you an estimated Quote and once we have all the details we can send you a final quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an idea of the “experience” the client is looking for, from type of cuisine to theme to color scheme. Once I have an idea of what they are looking for, I make a customized menu that I think will make them and their guests happy and fit within their budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always learning! A.S. and B.S. from The International Culinary Schools @ The Art Institutes of California-Los Angeles and Tennessee-Nashville, respectively.
