Anh C. says, "I was initially referred to by One Shot Plumbing. They are not local. They came from Ontario, out of county, San Bernardino County, traveled a long distance to my home on a Sunday.They called me after 1030 pm on Saturday insisted to come out on Easter Sunday. They gave an estimate of over 5,000. They said i have an old age corrosion drainage that required to break down and clean out from below. The tech kept saying I need to talk to his boss he'd give me a discount. I had a lot of doubts of the tech competence. He didn't have answers to any of my questions but kept saying talk to his boss to get a discount. After he had a long talk to his boss, they wanted to charge me 4 grain. The guy wanted to tear down the drainage in the bathroom on a Sunday he was already there and will come back the next day and finish the rest in another half a day work. I don't know much about Plumbing but I have my common sense and not that gullible to trust someone who cannot give a straight answer. I contacted one of the local referral co. Bill Metzer Plumbing byThumtack. i had used this Plumbing co. before and they did a fairly good job at a reasonable price. Their tech had a look down the drain and told me if I had a vacuum to suck out the gunks down the drainage that had accumulated for some 40 years due to never used before. After he showed me to suck out the gunks which cost me nothing and the water goes down the drainage now and does not back up like before. I can sum up this. One Shot Plumbing is a fraud. They wanted me to pay them 4, 5 grain to break down the bathroom drainage when there is no problem with the drainage. Thumtack referred several plumbing companies. This company contacted me after 10 pm night time to insist they come out to work on an Easter Sunday. The two men in cahoots lied to me that I have a big problem when there is no problem at all with the drainage. i wanted to thank Bill Metzer Plumbing for the company's honesty, and ethical work. I only asked his company to give me a bid if it's lesser than the other co. then I'll go with the less expensive one. The tech is Jenri, told me what to do, and i did and there is no problem that would have cost me some 4,000. You should not refer this One Shot Plumbing company to anyone. They are con men, fraudster. These people only made themselves a bad name for immigrants. If they are to be deported, i do not feel sorry due to their dishonesty in business dealing. What more else could they do?"See more
