I have hired at least a dozen CPR trainers in my years running preschools, social service agencies, residential programs, etc. and Josh/ CPR Education is the best and immensely well priced. Josh was professional, knowledgeable, warm, funny, clear and made the training reflective of our agency's work. I received great feedback from all staff (which is a rare feat for a mandatory 5 hour training). Some other highlights: - very accommodating to our schedule on short notice - on time and prepared with a large number of new supplies for our staff to test on - comprehensive, well-paced training

We got onsite CPR Training. The training was well-done and fun! Josh was very responsive and helpful! The only criticism would be that the online component, created by the American Heart Association, needs work on the simulations. It does not seem reasonable to have to sit through the counting of the actual breaths in order to demonstrate knowledge of the process. The "in-person" skills test allows for that demonstration.

Josh was very thorough in his CPR training course. The video plus hands on practice was a great way to really understand what should be done in an emergency. Thank you!

Great Instructions. Mr. Brett and Mr. Jack. Great serve in general the Secretary is so warm welcoming and goodies.Back to the main Topic:CPR lessons Instructors are very well knowledgeable about both the material and at the same time the students weakness ,plus knowing how to pass that fear, anxiety that question if im going to do the right thing. Both gives examples that empowers and inspires every one to feel not scared but just ready for that moment. I have been a nurse since 1999. Every 2 years I have taken CPR classes this was the most class I was able to understand every step and what you need most to make a difference in the victims life. Im so confident that this is my CPR class for me and I recommend to the nation. Thank you.

An amazing class! The instructors were very knowledgeable and straight to the point. I certify every two years and have never had a class more informative than this one. I now have more confidence than ever, that when the time comes, I will be fully prepared for an emergency. Thank you PTI! I'll definitely be back!

Amazing class - I learned so much more in 2 hours at Professional Training Institute than I have at previous training centers whose classes were 6 hours! I'll definitely be recommending this class.

I recently received training from Jim and his lovely wife Roseanne in Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid. Because Jim's next scheduled class was too far in the future for my needs, I really appreciated that he was able to accommodate an individual lesson for me at a reasonable price. The class was fun and informative, and the material was presented in an interesting and engaging way, with plenty of personal anecdotes from the husband-wife team that kept the class from feeling like a boring on-rails course. After the training was over, there was an issue with the wording on my certification, which Jim worked with me in order to fix. Because Jim works through the Red Cross, there was some confusion over how the certification should read according to Red Cross guidelines; my certification had to be updated a couple times until it accurately described the training I received. There are lists online of the exact titles of Red Cross courses (such as at http://www.redcross.org/images/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m18991669_CEUApprovedCourses.pdf), so if you need a specific wording like I did, it's probably best to let Jim know ahead of time. Nevertheless, Jim navigated the Red Cross bureaucracy for me and got it fixed just in the nick of time. Because of his professionalism before, during and after the training, I intend to re-certify with him in a couple years and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants or needs to stay up to date on life-saving techniques.

My wife and I attended a CPR/AED/1st AID class at the Richmond library. Jim Mallory emphasized that he wanted the class to ask questions and to be involved with all aspects of the training. He achieved both goals. His style of training is easy going and relaxed which is conducive to attendees being engaged with both the instructional and the hands-on skills of the class. No question or concern is ignored or trivialized. He takes his time with each student to make sure they understand the whys and the wherefores that are necessary to be able to handle a medical emergency as a lay person. Jim’s knowledge of the subject is extensive so he was both comfortable and flexible enough to accommodate the attendees’ interest during the course based on their stories or questions at the time. I would certainly recommend Jim and his wife, Roseanne, who, as I understand it, assists him on many of his training events. She is a caring and knowledgeable person that was easily approachable and enjoys interacting with the attendees.

I would recommend Jim's CPR class. I chose Jim because he was flexible with the schedule, offered a private lesson and the price was right. I really enjoyed the time I spent with Jim and his partner. They made learning fun and informative.

Jenny was an excellent trainer and pleasure to work with. She arrived at our office early to get set up, so all of her supplies were ready when our employees arrived. After the class all of the attendees commented on how thorough the training was, and how nice Jenny was! We will definitely have her come back for any other first aid training we may need.

I needed a CPR class the same day and called EMS in the off chance that they would be able to direct me to someone who could get me trained ASAP. I spoke to Judith from EMS and she was able to fit me into a class that evening! The instructor David was nice and professional and took the time to cover everything with. Everything worked out great. I would definitely recommend EMS Safety Training to others.

Jon came to our home to give a CPR class to me and my husband, both sets of our parents and our good friends before my friend and I gave birth. The whole class was about 2 hours. Jon has a terrific teaching style. He is very funny and put us at ease immediately. He was focused on giving us the information and practice we would need to feel more confident with our new skills but did it in such a manner that we definitely had fun as well. We recommend him to anyone that we know that is looking for a CPR instructor.

I took a CPR/First Aid class from Jon through my employer and then later arranged to have him do a class for my church group. He is an excellent instructor. His presentation was clear and interesting, he was approachable and welcomed questions, and I left the class with new knowledge and skills. I highly recommend him.
